Jim Carrey celebrates a milestone 60th birthday by pretending to be a toothless old man in a hilarious video: ‘I’m 60 and sexy!’

Jim Carrey turned 60 on Monday and marked the occasion with a humorous social media video 

The actor took to Twitter to share a birthday message with his 18.7M followers, joking in a cartoonish elderly voice: ‘I’m 60 and sexy! And tonight I’m having creamed corn and strained peaches.’

The star also reflected about his age in the caption, writing: ‘It’s ma birthday! Whoohoo! I’m old but I’m gold! I Love you all!!!’

Carrey, whose known for his energetic performances, pulled his famous funny faces at the camera while sporting a casual grey t-shirt. 

He licked his lips repeatedly and adopted a slur while acting as if he had lost all his teeth. 

The Canadian–American actor — born James Eugene Carrey — has much to celebrate on the special day.

He’s had an illustrious career throughout the years and is known for many hit movies, including Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Mask, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Carrey moved to Hollywood in 1983 and began regularly performing at The Comedy Store, a comedy club on the Sunset Strip, before he joined the cast of the influential sketch comedy series In Living Color in 1990.

In 1994, he became a household name with the release of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, where he plays an eccentric animal detective who is tasked with finding an abducted dolphin.

The film helped launched Carrey’s career and was followed up by the 1995 sequel Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls.

The film — which was the first movie role for his co-star Cameron Diaz — sees him playing the character of Stanley Ipkiss, a bank clerk who finds a magical mask that allows him to transform into a green-faced superhero. 

The Mask became a huge commercial success, grossing over $351 million on an $18–23 million budget, and Carrey received his first Golden Globe nomination for the role.

In 2004, Carrey starred in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind – where he  portrayed Joel Barish, a man who discovers that his girlfriend Clementine Kruczynski (played by Kate Winslet) has had her memories of him erased and decides to undergo the same procedure – marking a more mature role for the actor.  

He was praised for his performance and Winslet received an Oscar nomination for her role.
