Joe Swash forced to protect his modesty in VERY tight purple costume

‘It’s not appropriate for a toddler’s party!’ Joe Swash forced to protect his modesty in VERY tight purple costume made by Stacey Solomon for son Rex’s Moana-themed birthday bash

Joe Swash was forced to protect his modesty in a very tight purple costume made by his fiancée Stacey Solomon for their son Rex’s Moana-themed party on Thursday.

Loose Women star Stacey, 31, couldn’t contain her giggles as she realised that the Tamatoa costume for her son’s second birthday ‘wasn’t very appropriate for a toddler’s party.’

Stacey had been busy working on the outfit to replicate the giant crab from the Disney film, but when Joe tried it on she had to cover his groin with a ‘censored’ emoji.

He also stood with a plastic coconut over the area in another picture which was uploaded to Stacey’s Instagram Story.

Documenting the hilarious moment for her 4.4 million Instagram followers, Stacey explained in a video: ‘I’m sitting here trying to make Joe’s costume for Rex’s birthday and I’m not sure it’s looking appropriate at the moment!’

‘Oh my God just tuck it away, what the hell, just move it!’ she exclaimed to him as he tried it on.

Joe quickly pointed out in response: ‘I don’t have anywhere to put it, it’s my penis!’

‘Just get rid of it, why is it there?’ Stacey squealed, as her older sons Leighton and Zachary could be heard laughing in the background.

Explaining more in the captions, Stacey wrote: ‘Trying to make Joe a shiny Tamatoa Crab costume for Rex’s birthday and it’s not looking very appropriate for a toddler’s party.

‘Think Tamatoa may have to wear a grass skirt on the day… my nieces and nephews and the boys think it’s very funny looking though.’

Stacey then shared a photo of Joe in the costume grinning for the camera while holding the plastic coconut over his groin.

She wrote alongside it: ‘I’m trying so so hard guys but I don’t know if it’s my costume or Hoe [Joe] but I’m crying – actual tears.

‘Maybe his shiny shell and claws will help bring it together. Send help.’

Joe then began to complain about having to stand still for so long while Stacey tried to attach the arms onto the costume.

Giving up for the evening, Stacey told her fans: ‘I’m leaving this here tonight. I have no more energy left for this b*****y costume.

‘I’ve been trying to sew these arms on in the right place for 2 hours but my model is an absolute jobsworth.’

Joe added: ‘I can’t stay in this position, 100 per cent I can’t stay in this position.’

Stacey is the mother to Zachary, 13, and Leighton, eight, from previous relationships and Rex, 23 months, with Joe.

It comes after earlier this week Stacey shared more updates with her followers as she continued to renovate her new £1.2million Essex mansion.

She revealed her latest transformation project was the black and white Tudor-style Wendy House in her garden on Wednesday afternoon.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the TV personality said she took advantage of the good weather to paint the play house following days of rain.

Stacey covered the original black paintwork in a pretty pale grey colour and also gave the white paint a fresh coat.

She also added a sweet heart-shaped wreath to the door and added flowers and a doormat to the front of the house.

Alongside a video of the structure, she wrote: ‘It’s the first day it hasn’t rained in ages so I’m going to start painting the Wendy house. I had to get someone in to fix the rotten wood because I’m not that skilled. So I’m excited to paint it.

Later sharing a quick update, she penned: ‘I’ve only done the front… I decided to try a different lighter colour because I thought if it looks wrong it’s easy to change it to black…’

Stacey, who has proved she is an expert at DIY over the years, told her fans she was planning to give the Wendy house another coat of paint.

Once the exterior was finished, she delightedly said: ‘Can’t wait to decorate the inside and I might even paint the paving slabs.’

Stacey recently moved into her ‘forever home’, which she promptly named Pickle Cottage, with her fiancé, Joe and their children.
