It was Saturday Afternoon Fever for the regular shoppers of Fakenham Morrisons this weekend after Hollywood icon John Travolta stopped for a spot of grocery shopping in the Norfolk town.
The A-lister, 68, who earlier in the week took a trip to Wetherspoons – where you can indulge on a sirloin steak and a chosen tipple for less than £10 – browsed the hot cross bun aisle before security guard Gary Middleton, 48, bumped into him at the bread counter.
Gary said: ‘I didn’t even go up to him, he just came up to me and shook my hand. We had a really nice chat.

‘When I put it on my Facebook everyone said I was mucking around and they didn’t believe it was true but it was.’
Once shoppers got wind of the Grease star’s presence, excitement spread throughout the store and John spared time to talk and have photos with staff and customers.
Supermarket worker Nicola Gee was amongst those lucky to snatch a selfie with the actor.

The New Jersey native also dropped in for a drink at the Wetherspoons in Dereham on Thursday night, with staff at the Romany Rye pub confirming his presence.
Jamie Salter, who was drinking in the pub at the time, said he couldn’t believe it was actually him.
He said: ‘Meeting John Travolta was unreal, Dereham doesn’t usually play host to one of the most famous Hollywood stars on the planet.
‘I feel extremely lucky to have met him as it certainly wasn’t what I expected to experience on a Thursday night out in Dereham.
‘We were sat at another table at the Wetherspoons and a couple of staff members pointed him out. We didn’t believe them, but I walked past and got a glimpse of him.

“I went over and said, “excuse me, sorry for disturbing your evening, I’ve just got a question: Is it John?”‘
‘If the reply of, “It certainly is” wasn’t enough, the strong American accent further confirmed my suspicions.
‘I went on to ask if I could shake his hand and get a picture. He told me how he was over here for a week filming for a Christmas movie at a local airstrip.’

Last year, the acting veteran filmed an action movie called Paradise City, but it has been claimed that is now in post-production.
Over the weekend, John also treated his daughter to a British tea party in honour of her 22nd birthday.
The film star took to Instagram on Sunday morning to wish his offspring a happy birthday and share a sweet clip of their special day with his 3.9M followers.
‘Happy birthday my dearest Ella! I love you so much,’ the doting dad wrote in the caption of the post.
