Katie Holmes stars in an edgy fashion shoot for AMAZING Magazine, wowing in designer looks as she opens up on parenting and her return to screen.

The star, 43, looks stunning in three distinct covers shot by Alexi Lubomirski and styled by Brie Welch for the sophomore issue of the magazine, including one where she poses in a racy red knit dress.

In the accompanying interview the actress gives rare insight into her day to day life with daughter Suri, 16, revealing how they bonded during lockdown by watching classic movies.

Another gorgeous shot shows the actress posing in a purple Chanel mini dress with a matching heart-shaped bag, flaunting her long, tanned legs.

Meanwhile an eye-catching black and white close-up shows the Dawson’s Creek star in a new light, as she models a nose ring and a slicked-back hairdo.

In the interview the star discusses her new project, returning to the director’s chair with lockdown love story, Alone Together, which she also wrote, produced and stars in. 

The new project comes after Katie spent the global pandemic in lockdown with daughter Suri, 16, whose father is her ex husband Tom Cruise.

The star paints an idyllic picture of their lockdown, gushing that they were ‘on a perpetual vacation’ as they retreated to a lake house.

‘I painted, we had a sewing machine so we were making quilts, we were cooking; we were on a perpetual vacation,’ Katie said. 

‘We were also on a lake and there was a hammock, so I would wake up, sew, have coffee, take a nap on the hammock.’

‘Oh and, by the way, I have to throw this in; we were staying by a lake, so we probably watched Dirty Dancing 10 times.’

While she split from ex-husband Tom Cruise, 59, in 2012 – with whom she shares Suri.
