‘Remember this day…. you are in the greatest city in the world’: Hamilton producer praises Covid-free Sydney as stars turn out for Sydney premiere with Gladys Berejiklian like you’ve NEVER seen her before and Julie Bishop in a stunning mini-dress
The stars turned out in force for the Australian premiere of Hamilton at the Lyric Theatre in Sydney on Saturday, with American producer Jeffrey Seller saying it was currently the ‘greatest city in the world’ after defeating Covid-19.
The world-renowned theatrical producer, who is best known his work on Rent, Avenue Q and Hamilton, praised NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, who was an attendee at the event.
‘Remember this day…. you are living in the greatest city in the world,’ Seller, who had flown in from New York, said while addressing the gathered crowd of A-listers.
Seller went on to say that he was happy do undergo mandatory 14-day hotel quarantine in Sydney upon his arrival, and would do it, ‘every time if I meant I could come and eat in your restaurant drink in your bars,’ adding that he was keen on dining in the trendy suburb of Potts Point.

Sydney has virtually returned to normal while cities like New York and London, known as hubs for award-winning musical theatre, are still battling the virus.
The stark difference was on show on Saturday night, as the Who’s Who of Australia’s celebrity and political spheres turned out in droves for the opening of Tony Award Award winning musical Hamilton at Star City’s Lyric Theatre.
Leading the celebrity arrivals was Kerri-Anne Kennerley, who stunned in a fitted blue, floor length frock that showed off her ageless figure.
The 67-year-old beamed as she posed in the off-the-shoulder dress, her blonde hair in gentle waves on her shoulders.
