The star told New! Magazine: ‘When I married Brian, we had a special blessing from the actual Pope on the day – a load of bloody good that did!
Kerry added that Ryan marked a departure from her usual whirlwind engagements, saying: ‘Brian proposed after three weeks, I think Mark was five weeks and with George it was eight weeks.

Recently, Kerry was seen trying on a stunning wedding dress, in a teaser for Gok Wan’s Say Yes To The Dress Lancashire.
Kerry could be seen in the breathtaking strapless gown, which boasts a daring split and sparkling embroidery.
After bounding around the bridal shop, Kerry explains: ‘I’m here today to find my final wedding dress ever’ as she rifles through the rails of beautiful gowns.
The bride-to-be then slipped into a stunning thigh-split gown, which she teams with satin stilettos and sparkling chandelier earrings.
Gasping, the star looked at herself in front of the mirror and told Gok: ‘Wow, look at this. I think I look dead sexy.’
It’s not clear whether this was her final choice.
Kerry and Ryan got engaged last August after he asked her children for their permission to pop the question.

The Tide Is High hitmaker has five children – Molly Marie, 19, Lilly-Sue, 18, who she shares with Brian, Heidi Elizabeth, 14, Maxwell Mark, 13, who she shares with Mark , and Dylan-Jorge Rose Kay, seven, who she shared with the late George.
It comes as Kerry recently spoke candidly about her decision to wed again, in a Loose Women interview.
Speaking candidly, the Celebrity Big Brother housemate revealed to the panel: ‘I went online and thought, ‘I wouldn’t mind a free meal,’ and met Ryan and it made me realise I do deserve to be loved.’
‘I never thought, ‘When I grow up I want to get married four times and have five kids by three different dads, and for the kids to have different surnames.”
She went on to explain that it can sometimes be difficult for her to get excited about the big day because she wants the marriage as opposed to the wedding itself.
Children: Kerry is a mother to Molly, 19, Lilly-Sue, 18, with ex-husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 13, Maxwell, 12, with ex Mark Croft, 49, and Dylan-Jorge, six, whose father George Kay tragically passed away in 2019 (pictured in 2020)
In a clip shown from her recent stint on TLC’s Say Yes To The Dress, Kerry was heard saying: ‘I feel like I shouldn’t be here. Almost like I shouldn’t be allowed to enjoy the day.’
Speaking again to Stacey Solomon, 31, Nadia Sawalha, 56, Kaye Adams, 58, and Jane Moore, 59, Kerry said, ‘At one point Ryan asked me if I actually wanted to get married. I don’t want a wedding I want a marriage.’
‘I’ve been with Ryan three years and by this point I’d normally be divorced so I must be doing something right,’ she quipped.
‘This time, I was single for two years I had to learn to love me before I was able to love anybody else. I make me happy. Ryan enhances it. That’s the difference.’
Unlike her previous marriages, the star is in no rush to tie the knot and will ‘hop on a plane’ when the time comes, she said.
In February, Kerry revealed to MailOnline that she wants to elope to Las Vegas to marry her fiancé, and only wants her five children in attendance.
