Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are ‘inseparable and leaning on each other’ following Astroworld tragedy

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are closer than ever following the Astroworld tragedy in Houston, Texas on November 5. 

The pregnant 24-year-old makeup mogul and the 30-year-old rapper are said to be ‘inseparable and leaning on each other’ in wake of the catastrophic concert which claimed 10 lives, per E! News. 

Additionally as the pair are set to welcome their second child together in a matter of months, the source added that both are ‘excited’ for the baby’s arrival.

‘They have definitely been inseparable and leaning on each other,’ the source said of of the pair’s relationship at this time.  

‘Travis has been by [Kylie’s] side and has been very supportive during her pregnancy,’ the insider noted, adding that ‘they are both excited for the baby to come.’

The insider continued to say that the reality star is ‘nesting until the baby comes’ and that Stormi, three, cannot wait to be a big sister. 

‘She’s been hanging out with her family and a few close friends and is just nesting until the baby comes. She loves being at home and has been getting the nursery ready.’

The reveal: Jenner revealed her pregnancy news on September 7 by way of an Instagram video which showed tender moments including Scott wrapping his arms around her after a positive pregnancy test

Both Kylie and Stormi were in attendance to watch the Sicko Mode rapper perform his set to a crowd of 50,000 people at the Astroworld festival on November 5. 

Just half-an-hour into Scott’s 75-minute set, a ‘mass casualty’ situation was declared as a stampede injured hundreds who were treated on site, with an additional 13 hospitalized. 

In the aftermath 10 lost their lives, with the youngest victim being just nine-years-old.

In wake of the tragedy, Kylie posted a statement on behalf of the pair where she wrote that they were ‘broken and devastated,’ and clarified that neither were ‘aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show.’ 

Additionally she maintained that Scott would have stopped ‘performing’ had he known about the situation. 

The Goosebumps rapper also posted a video addressing the situation where he said he was ‘absolutely devastated’ and ‘committed’ to supporting the victims’ families, and working with the Houston Police Department and the Houston Fire Department during the investigation. 

Lawsuits have been filed by more than 280 people with Houston based lawyer Tony Buzbee representing 125 victims alone.

Buzzbee’s case names both Scott and rapper Drake and seeks $750 million in damages on behalf of the victims. 

Statement: Kylie released a statement on behalf of she and Scott where she said in part ‘I want to make it clear we weren’t aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued filming or performing’

Collectively over $3B in lawsuits have been filed against the two rappers as well as event promoters Live Nation and ScoreMore as well as Apple.

Kylie had been hunkered down with Scott in his Houston mansion after the show for about a week, and it was said that she and Stormi had flown back to Los Angeles on November 12.

‘Kylie and her team waited until it was late and left the house in blacked out cars heading for the airport, they didn’t want anyone to see them,’ a source told The Sun.

The rekindled couple were also set to appear on the cover of W Magazine which accompanied a joint spread and interview, but in light of the Astroworld tragedy the publication was ‘scrambling’ to pull the edition.
