Rob Grant recently released the title song of his upcoming album, Lost at Sea, featuring his daughter Lana Del Rey.
Grant’s debut album is set for release on Friday, June 9, via Decca Records.
“Lost At Sea is a deeply emotional and ethereal song. It combines the beautiful vocals of Lana Del Rey woven into a hypnotic piano composition,” Grant said in a press release. “Lana’s voice is haunting and powerful. It moves ghostlike like through the song like mist over the ocean.”
He added, “The song has a deep message of hope for all of us who feel lost and disconnected in today’s world. ‘Lost At Sea’ is the reason I made my album: to share music that can bring some peace and calm to a very anxious world.”
The song was co-written by the father and daughter.
Lana Del Rey has lent her voice to one more song on the album, “Hollywood Bowl.”
Other songs on Lost At Sea include contributions from Jack Antonoff, Luke Howard, Laura Sisk and Zach Dawes.
Grant has already dropped four other songs from the album.
