Lauren Goodger has sent words of support to Josie Gibson.

Former TOWIE star Lauren, 34, responded to a Tweet made by This Morning’s Josie Gibson, 36, about people who are against getting their Covid vaccination.

To her 335,900 followers on Twitter, Josie urged people not to create a ‘divide’ between those who do and don’t want to be vaccinated.

In her message, Josie, who won Big Brother series 11 in 2010, went on to tell her followers that she has ‘love’ for them whether they have the jab or not.

“Notice how the media are trying to pit vaccinated against the unvaccinated?” she began. “Do not let there be a divide.”

“The only way out of this is love and respect,” she continued. “Your body your choice. I have love for you whether you have had the jab or not.”

“You have made the right decision for you #united,” Josie finished with a red love heart emoji.

Pregnant reality star Lauren, was one in 1,500 people who retweeted Josie’s words of reassurance.

“So much respect for this…,” Lauren penned alongside the retweet. “It’s not an achievement or something to be proud of and actually I respect people more who do what feels right for them and being strong enough to be honest as it’s a new thing and it’s scary.”

“So much respect for this Josie, so trueX,” continued Lauren, who’s expecting her first child with her boyfriend Charles Drury.

Josie currently lives with her ex-boyfriend Terry who’s the father of her two-year-old son Reggie.

It wasn’t only Josie’s celebrity friends who supported her tweet about the vaccine, many of her fans were in agreement also.

“I’m all for choice,” one wrote. “So long as they don’t impose lockdowns again to protect those who chose not to get the jab.”

“100% agree,” tweeted another. “Whether someone has the vaccine or not is absolutely none of my business and i couldnt care less either way. #respect #tolerance”

“Thankyou so much for saying this Josie!” penned a fellow Twitter user. “I’ve felt low thinking that people wouldn’t want to associate with me for not wanting it! I’m not a bad person! Xxx”

However, people also took to the Twitter thread to dispute Josie's opinion, saying that those who chose not to have the vaccine were ‘selfish’.

“Shouldn't love and respect for others mean vaccinating in order to save lives and get us out of lockdown?” an angered user debated. “It's not an individual choice as it massively affects others.”

“I'm struggling to see not vaxxing as anything other than a selfish act, while benefiting from those that do vax,” they finished.

“Josie i love you but I really don’t agree with this point,” a fan added.
