Lewis Hamilton demonstrates his passion for fashion in a denim tie-dye shirt and matching trousers as he steps out in Soho

He’s a sporting superstar who’s also known for his sense of style. 

And, Lewis Hamilton demonstrated his passion for fashion in a denim tie dye jacket and matching trousers as he stepped out in Soho, NYC, on Thursday night. 

The British racing car driver, 36, teamed his double denim ensemble with bright red trainers during his evening stroll.

Lewis kept safe amid the Covid-19 pandemic by wearing a white face mask, and tied his bleached locks into a ponytail. 

The British athlete holds the record for seven Formula One World Drivers’ Championship titles, in a tie with Michael Schumacher. 

But the racing superstar is already looking to the future, showing a keen interest in acting following his eventual retirement from the sport. 

Having only appeared briefly in films including Zoolander 2 and Cars 2, he wants to perfect the craft ‘step by step’.

Lewis recently told DAZN: ‘I want to be the best. In everything I do, I want to be. I would love to act one day, but I am very conscientious. I like to learn step by step.     

‘I had opportunities and I know that I need time to prepare myself, because I want to be the best. In everything I do, I want to be. To do the best I can. 

The seven-time world champion added: ‘If I’m going to make a movie, I’ll go to class, study, and make sure I express my emotions as I should.’

‘Coming soon’: Lewis recently released clothing line IM DFRNT with StockX and wore a T-shirt from the range at at the Grand Prix in Bahrain featured a picture of HIMSELF as a toddler 

Lewis teased a clothing line in a recent social media post as he donned a personalised tee with a picture of himself as a baby on and wrote: ‘Coming soon’ on Twitter.    

The throwback image of of the star was transformed into an electric purple graphic on the his slim-fitted tee, with the word ‘Loyalty’ inked up above. 

After sharing the snaps on social media, fans were quick to quiz Lewis on whether he’s launching a clothing line or possibly having children.

It turned out that the T-shirt was in fact from his IM DFRNT collection with StockX, which sold out following its launch.
