Love Island’s 2021 start date has been confirmed as June 28 with a new cast of sexy singletons reportedly already in quarantine in Spain as they prepare to enter the Mallorca villa.
The hit ITV2 dating show has not aired since February 2020 after both the summer 2020 and winter 2021 editions were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Yet with confirmation that the new series is taking place later this month and Love Island set to reveal the line-up in ‘due course’, MailOnline has taken a look at all the rumoured cast members so far…

Lucinda, 21, is thought to have dated the Brighton & Hove Albion player for two years and recently grown close to him again following allegations he breached Covid-19 lockdown rules by inviting a woman to his house for sex in March.
Speaking with The Sun, a source claimed that former British Airways air steward Lucinda wants to have a stint in the villa to promote her fashion business.
They claimed: ‘She wants fame and money – she’s always wanted to be a celebrity. She’s trying to become an influencer, she wants to do it for her business.
‘Aaron’s really upset and really annoyed about it. They were together for two years and then broke up.’
Detailing their strained romance, they added: ‘He was seeing other people and she was jealous, but over the past few months they’ve been seeing each other.’
They also added that Lucinda has already had a ‘lengthy psych evaluation’ ahead of her reported entry to the villa.

The fire-eating beauty queen, 21, is said to be looking for love after recently breaking up from a long-term relationship.
It has been claimed that Alexis will ‘bring some heat’ to the villa as she is ‘very open’ and ‘always talking about sex’.
The aerial dancer was runner-up in the Miss Manchester pageant in 2019 and is one of Wayne Lineker’s Dream Dolls in Ibiza.
A source told The Sun: ‘She loves sex and is always talking about it. She’s very open about it but is incredibly likeable and loves to party.
‘There are no limits as far as she is concerned and she very much wears her heart on her sleeve. It’s fair to say she will bring some heat to the villa.’

Speaking of bosses desire to get her on the show, a source had told The Sun: ‘Holly’s been brought up to work hard, show respect and not to rely on her dad’s celebrity. She’s finding her own way and will be successful in her own right.’
The beauty, who is signed to EST Models, had reportedly been approached by show bosses ‘many times’, however Gordon’s representatives denied she is joining the show.
They informed The Mirror: ‘This is not true. Holly has no interest in joining the show although she has been approached many times.’

James grew close to former Islander Lucie Donlan, 22, in 2018 – the summer before she rose to fame on the ITV2 show.
A TV insider told MailOnline that James has a soft spot for blondes.
They added that he hopes to bring the ‘Worcestershire Sauce’ to the villa this summer.
A source said: ‘James is in final talks with producers and they’re really keen on signing him this year.
‘He’s cheeky, fun and handsome – and will be a sure-fire hit with the female contestants, while he’s also on the lookout for his dream girl.
‘Lucie Donlan is his type on paper.
‘They grew close in Newquay the summer before she went on the show but their flirtation didn’t grow into a relationship.
‘While James is from Worcester, his group of friends reside in Fulham and he spent a lot of time before the pandemic partying in Chelsea.’
James is yet to find love and he could possibly find ‘The One’ in the villa this summer.
However, Lucie is now in a long-term relationship with boyfriend Luke Mabbott, 25, who starred on the winter version of Love Island.
A spokesman for ITV2 said at the time: ‘No decisions have been made on the line up for this year’s Love Island.’
Lucie previously told MailOnline she fancied Luke as soon as she saw him on the winter season of Love Island.
She said: ‘I fancied him when I first saw him walk into the villa. I saw him and was like, “Wow, he’s perfectly my type.”
‘I watched him the whole time he was on the show and I just thought he was perfect. He was such a lovely gentleman as well.
‘When I saw he was single I messaged him. I saw he was single and I just thought “I’ve got to shoot my shot” – you’ve got to go for what you want.
‘The day we first met we just knew it was meant to be which is really crazy when you meet someone at first.

Love Island duty of care protocols in full – ahead of 2021 series
Pre-filming and filming
- Registered mental health professional engaged throughout the whole series – from pre-filming to aftercare.
- Thorough pre-filming psychological and medical assessments including assessments by an independent doctor, psychological consultant and reports from each Islander’s own GP to check medical history.
- Potential Islanders are required to fully disclose any medical history that would be relevant to their inclusion in the villa and the production’s ability to provide a suitable environment for them.
- Managing cast expectations: detailed explanations both verbally and in writing of the implications, both positive and negative, of taking part in the series are given to potential cast members throughout the casting process and reinforced within the contract so it is clear.
- Cast are told they should consider all the potential implications of taking part in the show and work through this decision-making process in consultation with their family and those closest to them, to ensure they feel it is right for them.
- Senior Team on the ground have received training in Mental Health First Aid.
- A welfare team solely dedicated to the Islanders both during the show and after.
Aftercare
- Bespoke training on dealing with social media and advice on finance and adjusting to life back home.
- A minimum of eight therapy sessions will be offered to each Islander when they return home.
- Proactive contact with Islanders for a period of 14 months after the series in which they have appeared has ended, with additional help provided where applicable.
- We encourage Islanders to secure management to represent them after the show and manage them should they choose to take part in other TV shows, advertising campaigns or other public appearance opportunities.
