Madonna’s family ‘prepared for worst’ after singer rushed to ICU

Madonna reportedly has strict plans for how her much-beloved music catalogue will be handled after her death, with an avid dislike of holograms.

A source told The Sun, speaking about the ill-fated Whitney Houston hologram: “Madonna refuses to let money-hungry bosses do the same to her.”

They explained the 64-year-old doesn’t want her life’s work be “tarnished” and intends to keep “calling the shots and maintaining cultural relevance” after her death.

The outlet noted the Queen of Pop has “laid down the law” with her record labels and music executives on what can and can’t be done with her award-winning catalog.

Aside from her sensational music career, the mum-of-six has also reportedly solidified plans to avoid her family members feuding over her multimillion-dollar estate once she’s gone.

To do this, the Like A Virgin singer has shared the rights of her iconic tracks equally between all her children Lourdes, 26, and Rocco, 22, as well as her adoptive children David Banda, 17, Mercy, 17, and her 10-year-old twins Stella and Estere.

She also reportedly has plans in place to thank her long-term manager Guy Oseary in a similar fashion.

It was Guy who reassured fans the singer was on the road to recovery after news broke two weeks ago she had been rushed to intensive care and her family were “preparing for the worst”.

In a statement on the 28th of June, Guy revealed Madonna’s health “is improving” and a “full recovery is expected”, but highlighted that she was still “under medical care” at the time.

The manager devastatingly also confirmed the singer’s highly-anticipated Celebrations tour would be rescheduled and a “new start date” would be announced shortly.

The 64-year-old was set to start her first major tour in seven years at the end of this week in Canada, and had been excitedly sharing insights on her strenuous rehearsal process over Instagram.

In her final post days before being rushed to the ICU with a bacterial infection, the singer shared a collection of behind-the-scenes snaps, eerily titled: “The calm before the storm…”

After she shared the candid collection of photos, fans took their concerns to the comments pointing out that the singer “looks tired” and “drained”.

At the time of her hospitalization, a source told the Daily Mail the Vogue singer had been “wearing herself thing” in preparing for the tour as she was spending up to 12 hours every day in rehearsals.
