MAFS Australia fans heartbroken when Mick cries over cheating Jess

‘He’s crying and she’s smirking’: MAFS Australia fans are left heartbroken when Mick breaks down after ‘vile’ wife Jess admits to cheating… but they praise him for hugging love rival Dan

Tensions were running high on Married At First Sight Australia on Wednesday, when Jessika Power admitted to cheating on husband Mick Gould with Dan Webb.

Mick had already bowed out of the relationship, but was devastated to learn that Jess had kept him in the competition for weeks in order to get close to Dan.

Declaring he had ‘wasted his time’ because he had wanted to get back to his farm in Queensland, Mick broke down in tears over Jess’s lying and betrayal.

‘He’s crying and she’s smirking’: MAFS Australia fans were left heartbroken on Wednesday when Mick broke down after ‘vile’ wife Jess admitted to cheating on him with Dan

Breaking down, he told her: ‘You are the most selfish Brat EVER. You spoilt brat! You selfish bi***. Unbelievable’ after she made him stay in the experiment against his will for Dan

He said: ‘I’ve been forced to stay here by myself for nothing.

‘Now this all makes sense, you made me stay here, you dragged me here by myself and made me look like an idiot and go f***ing mental, so you could play footsies and bl**dy flirt with him.

‘You are the most selfish Brat EVER. You spoilt brat! You selfish bi***. Unbelievable.’

Dan apologised and said: ‘This is obviously a shock to everyone here and obviously not what I wanted, I’ve come in this group and I feel like a dog and to be honest with ya – especially Mick I bloody sorry and to Tam as well.’

‘Vile’: Fans slammed Jess for smirking her way through Mick’s tears after warming to the legendary  farmer

What a guy! And they praised Mick for not being afraid to cry after learning of his wife’s betrayal on the show

A tender hand: Mick was comforted by Heidi as he cried after discovering the truth

Letting it all out: He struggled to contain his emotions as Jess harped on about her feelings for Dan in an insensitive fashion

Mick roared: ‘I’ve wasted… OH…’ before he starts crying.

He added: ‘To think at one stage, I actually bloody liked ya. Nah, nah, nah… Unbelievable.’

Martha Kalifatidis, who is close friends with Jess told him, ‘stop saying it’s a waste of time, you knew what you were getting into.’

Heartbroken viewers of the show took to Twitter to praise Mick for showing his emotions and slammed ‘vile’ Jess for smiling while he broke down.

They wrote: ‘I’d love to wipe that smirk off Jess’s face. Micks sat crying and she’s sat smirking. Vileeeeeee #MarriedatfirstsightAustralia #MAFS.’

‘I LOVE YOU MICK’: Fans of the cult show took to Twitter in their droves to express their heartbreak over Mick’s tears

‘Jess is VILE. Like beyond VILE. Tamara holds and and portrays herself exceptionally. Mick crying is breaking my heart.

‘Heidi comforting him breaks it even more. And I’m still absolutely head over heels in love with Jules. #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSightAustralia.’

‘Martha describing Mick’s crying as ‘a tantrum’ just screams toxic masculinity. Men are allowed to cry too #MAFS.’

‘Seeing Mick crying got me right in the bl**dy feels. #MAFS #MAFSAU.’

Regrets? Dan was left with his head in his hands after the betrayal came to light as he apologised for hurting people with his actions

Bombshell: ‘People are being deeply hurt here,’ warned relationship expert John Aiken (right), as Dan’s wife Tamara Joy (left) wiped away tears and yells: ‘It’s not respectful!’

The ultimate betrayal: Jess had made Mick remain in the competition to get close to Dan, pretending she had wanted to fix her friendship with Mick

‘Uncomfortable’: John (right) solemnly told experts Mel Schilling and Dr Trisha Stratford, ‘There’s a moral code that they’ve destroyed’

Jess and Dan have been permitted to remain in the experiment to see if their love can blossom and Mick and Dan’s wife Tamara Joy have now left the competition.

With only one week left in the experiment, Jess had told Mick she wanted to remain in the competition under the guise of regaining their friendship after things had turned sour between them.

But actually, she hadn’t want to leave just yet because she lives in Perth and Dan lives on the Sunshine Coast so she had wanted to stay to get close to him.

For three weeks running, Mick had written ‘leave’ at the commitment ceremony, knowing the relationship was over.

Very noble of him: Fans were also impressed that Mick hugged love rival Dan despite his actions and urged him to not waste his time with Jess

Farewell: Mick told Dan he is ‘better than that’ as he said his goodbyes to the other people on the show

But Jess had written ‘stay’ each time, forcing him to stay on the programme – because the rules are, you can only leave if both partners say they want to.

As the show came to a close, viewers praised Mick for hugging love rival Dan despite his actions and noted that during the hug, he warned him off Jess, whispering: ‘Don’t do it, seriously. For the love of God, you’re better than that, champ.’

Fans tweeted: ‘I’ll tell you what Mick is a better guy for shaking and hugging Dan before he left. I would of given him an uppercut. #MAFS.’

‘Mick deserved better. He needs therapy to deal with this level of emotional trauma.

‘Him hugging Dan (the b**tard who was sweating like a cheating pig) showed us what a real Man is like. Jess is VILE.’
