Love Island stars Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor have shared a series of steamy hot tub snaps as he confessed he's the reason why they "don't do many photos together".

Reality star Chris, who recently made his other half scream in horror after attempting to do her make up, posted the pictures on his Instagram feed, which saw him pulling a pouting face as he wrapped his arms around girlfriend Maura.

Another snap showed Maura, who was dressed in an orange, brown and green bikini, tilting her head back as her brunette mane covered the majority of 30 year old Chris' face.

Several other pictures showed the couple cuddling while Chris smiled or pulled a funny face as the sunlight beamed down on them.

In the caption, he admitted: "We don’t do many photos together… & I am entirely the reason why [arrow emoji] @maurahiggins". [sic]

The TV personality, who recently celebrated his first Valentine's Day with Maura with a romantic igloo in the garden, added: "Sorry for being born a grade A penis babe & thanks for your patience," [sic] followed by a kissing emoji.

Amused, 30 year old Maura immediately responded by posting five crying with laughter emojis.

Love Islander Dom Lever also commented as he wrote: "I don’t know who’s punching," while Joe Garratt added: "The blue steel is magnificent," alongside a fire emoji.

Many of Chris' 1.1million fans couldn't help but share their opinions over the snaps too as one person praised them for being "real".

"I'd rather see 6 pics of you obviously having a proper laugh together than one super 'perfect' filtered one. You guys are lovely and real," [sic] they wrote.

Another said: "Gorgeous couple. I bet you 2 are a right laugh," [sic] with a crying with laughter emoji, red heart emoji and a fire emoji.

While a third added: "What a pairing you 2 are – brilliant together," [sic] followed by two red heart emojis.

It comes after the pair recently shared plans to tie the knot this year after confirming their romance in November 2020.

The couple unveiled hopes to become husband and wife soon as they answered fans’ questions on Instagram. As one fan asked the couple on when they plan to get married Maura put the question to Chris who said: “Oh, next year?”

To which she said: “Like, as in, this year?” To which Chris said: “No, next year.”

Maura then said: “That’s ages!” And Chris then compromised as he said: “Alright, this year” causing Irish brunette Maura to smile and giggle.
