In February, Douglas sported a blue-and-yellow pocket square resembling the Ukrainian flag to an award show.

Pointing to the square, told Access Hollywood at the time: ‘This is not the LA Rams,’ referencing the Los Angeles football team that outfits in the same colors.

‘If ever there was a time for us to appreciate what true democracy is, I’m just so proud of what these people of this country have done.’

At present, some 14 million Ukrainians have been displaced since Russian forces invaded the sovereign nation earlier this year, with more the 40,000 people dead, according to a recent report from Reuters.

During the holiday season, Michael has been spending time with his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The happy couple enjoyed the World Cup finals together where the Welsh actress confessed her love for another man … Lionel Messi, 35.
