On her strong marriage, the socialite said: ‘I feel like we’ve got through the test of lockdown, and we’re closer than ever.

‘They say these things make you stronger, and to have had a baby and be in lockdown, that’s two super intense situations for any relationship. I think it has taught us a lot about each other.

‘I hate doing the dishwasher, he’s quite good at it. We have our roles – he takes the bins out; I do most of the laundry. We have to have a balance of house duties, and things you both do.’

The influencer went on to discuss initially feeling uncomfortable after giving birth, but now insists she’s ‘proud’ of her figure.

Millie explained: ‘I did find it a bit uncomfortable at first adjusting, and finding things I felt comfortable wearing, adjusting to being a different size that I had been before…I have friends who have literally been the same size again after two weeks.

‘I’m so happy for them, but they are genetic freaks, and for most women you do still look pregnant for a bit, for a while even.’

‘I feel really strong, I feel fit, I feel like I love my body and I’ve got curves, and I’m a slightly different shape to what I was before. Some of my jeans fit and the slightly more fitted ones definitely don’t, and that’s fine.

‘Things don’t quite sit as they did before, but I feel really body confident…I feel so proud of what my body did.’

‘There’s so much pressure to bounce back after you’ve had the baby’: The influencer went on to discuss feeling uncomfortable after giving birth, but now insists she’s ‘proud’ of her figure

On the societal pressure of bouncing back after pregnancy, the blonde added: ‘Women often feel like they can’t talk about their postpartum bodies, and there’s so much attention on women’s bodies when they’re pregnant.

‘Then there seems to be so much pressure to bounce back after you’ve had the baby. That’s just something I really can’t stand because, like, give us a break!

‘You’ve literally just grown a human and yes, your body changes a lot when it’s creating a life, carrying it for nine months.

‘I was nervous at the beginning [to feature on the Women’s Health cover], it took me a while to warm into it, because it felt really odd – I hadn’t done a shoot in a long time.

‘In that time, we’ve been in a pandemic and I’ve had a baby…as the day went on I kind of felt I found my rhythm and remembered the poses that make me feel good and found my confidence. But as I first walked out on set, I was quite nervous.’

Elsewhere in the interview, the former make-up artist revealed she’s taken up running during the global crisis.

‘I’ve started running, I’m very much an amateur, I’m not someone who’s going to do a marathon any time in my life’, she said.

‘I like to run for anything between 30-40 minutes, that’s comfortable…I maybe do 5k, two or three times a week, and it just makes me feel really good.’

The media personality also spoke about the buzz over returning to normality after the coronavirus pandemic.

Millie shared: ‘I’m excited for dates with Hugo, getting dressed up and going out for date nights and going to restaurants, ordering from a menu, not washing up, and just having some couple time.

‘I’m excited for girls’ lunches again, getting a bit dressed up…I’d love a spa day, and gym classes.

‘I cannot wait to go back to a yoga class and feel that energy of the room, and spin classes, get my groove on, on my bike to the music, tap it back, I miss that, disco lights – I don’t even want to go to a club, I just want to go to a spin class!’
