Miranda Lambert is RIPPED by fans as a ‘Karen’ as clip of her popping a fan’s beach ball surfaces following selfie incident in Las Vegas residency
Miranda Lambert is again feeling the wrath of the Internet.
The 39-year-old country singer – who is reeling from controversy after chastising fans taking selfies during her show in Las Vegas Sunday – faced more criticism after she was seen popping a fan’s beach ball during a show in a newly-surfaced clip.
‘Saw this video of Miranda Lambert popping a fans beach ball on FB and did a screen record,’ one user who shared the clip wrote. ‘This woman is truly the wicked witch of the west of country music. A modern day Karen.’
The user wondered what impact Lambert’s temperament had on her past marriage to fellow country singer Blake Shelton.
Another user sarcastically speculated on future concert controversies the Grammy award-winning artist might be at the center of.

‘I guess clapping isn’t allowed either since it might get her out of sync,’ one fan said. ‘What’s next, the light was on her face? Miranda Lambert is not for her outburst, now she is the first Karen on stage!’
One Music City native made clear they were not surprised at the controversy involving the singer.
‘Miranda Lambert is an a***hole,’ the user said. ‘I’ve heard nothing but bad things about her from the folks who have had the misfortune of running into her here in Nashville.’
Amid the clip circulating, a number of tweets indicated Lambert has routinely been rankled by beach balls circulating through the crowds at her concerts, with some dating back to 2011.
The rehashed clip came two days after Lambert stopped mid-concert to call out friends taking a selfie while she sang the emotional song Tin Man during her Las Vegas residency.
She ceased singing the emotional tune Tin Man to tell a group of fans taking selfies with her in the background to stop.
‘I’m gonna stop right here for a second, I’m sorry,’ she said. ‘These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song.’
She continued: ‘It’s p*****g me off a little bit. Sorry, I don’t like it. At all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some d**n music.’

The Longview, Texas native earlier on Tuesday was slammed by some fans in the comments section of a post she made to promote animal safety and responsibly owning a pet.
The animal advocate ignored the backlash and instead focused on a cause close to her heart. The star, who appeared to subtly shade her critics, wrote ‘It takes balls….’ before adding that she was speaking about animals.
‘To learn why it’s important and y’all can get shirts at the link in my bio,’ adding hearts and a dog emoji. Her tee said that same thing – ‘It takes balls. Spay & neuter your pets.’
DailyMail.com reached out to Lambert’s reps for comment.
Fans appeared divided in the comments section of the post, while some sharing their support for her and also commending her animal advocacy, others called her names and demanded her to apologize to the women she berated.
One commenter appeared to have been at the same concert where all the controversy started, siding with Miranda.
‘Team @mirandalambert she owes no one an apology. Saw it all first hand and those girls had taken 1000 selfies before she finally had had enough. They were so disrespectful, the media missed the entire story on this one! She’s a queen and will remain a queen!’
Others demanded an apology from her to the women in question, calling her a ‘true narcissist’ and a ‘petty’ person with a ‘God Complex.’
Another wrote: ‘This girl is taking a selfie when she should be apologizing and it’s really p*****g me off,’ in a play off the country’s star’s harsh words at her concert.

One of the women – Adela Calin – chastised by Miranda spoke to TMZ about the moment, claiming that they were in the VIP bench and lower than the audience – when asked if they were blocking others.
She claimed it only was 20 seconds for the duration of the picture and that the flash was from the phone.
When asked if she was still a fan, she said: ‘I wont’ buy another ticket to go to her concert. She added that she felt like she was back at school when a teacher would chastise her.
