Peter Andre reveals he has forgiven Rebekah Vardy over chipolata jibe

Peter Andre reveals he has forgiven Rebekah Vardy over THAT chipolata jibe she made about the size of his manhood in newspaper interview

He was mocked after being dragged into the £3million ‘Wagatha Christie’ libel trial.

But Peter Andre revealed he is ‘not holding on to any bitterness’ and has forgiven Rebekah Vardy for comparing his private parts to ‘a small chipolata’.

Mrs Vardy, 40, made the claim in a kiss-and-tell interview in which she revealed intimate details of a sexual encounter with the singer.

‘I don’t have ill feelings towards anybody because I’m not perfect. I’ve made mistakes,’ Andre told the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine after the matter was dredged up in court in May.

He added: ‘I don’t dislike anybody but I do dislike things being brought up all the time.

‘The reason I don’t talk about this is because it’s gone on for years and there’s nothing more to say. But I’m not holding on to any bitterness.’

Andre, 49, was mentioned in Mrs Vardy’s High Court trial against Coleen Rooney, 36, who accused her fellow WAG of leaking false stories about her to The Sun newspaper. Mrs Vardy, who is married to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, denies the claim.

David Sherborne, Mrs Rooney’s lawyer, read out excerpts of Mrs Vardy’s 2004 News of the World article about Andre to demonstrate that she has form for giving stories to the media.

But Mrs Vardy claimed that she had been ‘misrepresented’ in the story. She said she had been coerced to do the interview by an abusive ex-partner when she was just 22.

Speaking in court, she explained: ‘There’s a lot of things in there that did not come out of my mouth and were misrepresented. It’s shameful reading that, and one of my biggest regrets.’

Andre – who is married to Emily MacDonagh, a doctor 17 years his junior, with whom he has daughter Amelia, eight, and son Theo, five – previously said he had to apologise to his family after the unflattering comments were repeated in court. Andre also has son Junior, 17, and daughter Princess, 15, with ex-wife Katie Price.
