Pharrell Williams fans can’t believe his age and claim the singer has discovered ‘the fountain of youth’ as he celebrates milestone birthday

Fans of Pharrell Williams couldn’t believe the singer’s real age this week as he celebrated a milestone birthday.   

Claiming the singer has discovered ‘the fountain of youth,’ people shared their shock on social media. 

The Hip Hop star, who rose to fame in the 90s, rang in this 50th birthday on Wednesday, but he appears to look exactly the same as he did in his 30s. 

Twitter users marvelled at his ageless looks as they urged him to ‘drop his skincare routine’ and ‘share his secrets.’

Pharrell was born on 5 April 1973, going on to form a songwriting and production duo, The Neptunes, alongside Chad Hugo in the early 1990s.

Sharing their thoughts, one fan penned: ‘Since when is Pharrell Williams 50? What’s your skincare routine? 

Another added: ‘Ain’t no way Pharrell Williams is 50? This n**** has found the fountain of youth. 

’50 years old! Pharrell Williams does not age one bit. More like a vampire,’ a third person posted. 

One confused fan questioned: ‘How is it possible I appear older than Pharrell Williams who is literally 50 years old? 

‘Pharrell Williams the writer of the song Happy is 50 years old. No he is not. But yes he is,’ another shared. 

The Neptunes worked with Jay-Z, Nelly and Britney Spears, before forming band N.E.R.D. in 1999. 

Pharrell also enjoyed a successful solo career, working on the film scores for Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2 in 2010 and 2013 respectively. 

His song Happy from the film series became the final UK number one single of 2013 in December of that year.

The producer also collaborated with Daft Punk on Get Lucky and Lose Yourself to Dance in 2013. 

He was also a coach on the American version of The Voice between 2014 and 2016. 

Last month, Pharrell added yet another clothing line to his lengthy resume after being named as the new Men’s Creative Director at Louis Vuitton.

The rapper is assuming the role previously held by Virgil Abloh, who made history as Louis Vuitton’s first black artistic director, following his death in November 2021.  

Pharrell, although known predominantly for his music talents, already has a lengthy fashion resume to his name.

Career: Last month, Pharrell added yet another clothing line to his lengthy resume after being named as the new Men’s Creative Director at Louis Vuitton 

The entrepreneur, who collaborated with the brand previously in both 2004 and 2008, will reveal his first Vuitton collection during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris in June.

In the early 2000s, the star teamed up with Japanese fashion icon Nigo to launch the streetwear label Billionaire Boys Club as well as a skateboarding-inspired shoe brand, Ice Cream. 

But his designs later became more measured, and Pharrell went on to have a whole host of collaborations with the likes of Diesel, Chanel, Moncler and Adidas.

And, among his many accolades, was awarded the Fashion Icon Award in 2015 by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
