Pregnant Britney Spears hops aboard a jet ski and spends time out on the water with fiance Sam Asghari during the couple’s Mexican getaway

Britney Spears appears to be having a blast during her romantic getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with her soon-to-be husband Sam Asghari.

The pregnant popstar, 40, was seen hopping aboard a jet ski on Monday, May 9, while spending time on the white sand beaches with her better half, 28, and several of their close friends.

Britney and Sam, who got engaged in September after five years of dating, are expecting their first child together.

She soaked up the sun in a white oversized T-shirt that masked her baby bump and a pair of blue plaid shorts.

The Toxic hitmaker’s flowing golden blonde hair was swept up into a messy bun and she shielded her eyes with a pair of stylish shades.

Britney had originally strolled the beach in a pair of sneakers and socks, which she would later ditch during her time in the water.

She wore a face mask for the duration of their time at the beach as a way to protect herself and others from catching COVID-19.

Before taking a seat on her Sea-doo of choice, the performer put safety first and strapped herself into an orange and grey lifejacket. 

With all the appropriate safety measures in place, Britney hopped aboard her jet ski and confidently placed her hands on the steering wheel.

She waited patiently for her party to get situated, often turning in their direction to communicate with them.

Britney was later captured riding around in the water with one of her pals seated behind her with their hands wrapped around her mid-section.

Britney’s fun-filled beach day occurred on the same day that the singer sparked concern after she uploaded nine full-frontal nude photos to her Instagram page.

‘Photo dump of the last time I was in Mexico BEFORE there was a baby inside me,’ she captioned her first post containing six nude shots, adding: ‘Why the heck do I look 10 years younger on vacation.’ 

Minutes later she then added a second post featuring three more naked shots that were all extremely similar.

However, fans flocked to the comment section worried about the Britney, wanting to know why she had posted the same image several times, while others felt she was showing too much of herself to her 41million followers. 

One fan felt as though personal trainer Sam should have stepped in to prevent the star from posting the revealing images, writing: ‘If your man had respect for u he’d never let you post half things you do! Leave some mystery…’ 

‘I really wished you would stop doing this. You keep proving that bit of an odd instability exists,’ another wrote.

A concerned fan added: ‘Starting to think those who were in control perhaps should have stayed in control…

One fan suggested that Britney should keep the explicit shots for an OnlyFans account, writing: ‘At least make a only fans page. I love Britney but she got two big boys who can see this.’

Though her comment section on Monday may not have been as supportive as she would have liked, Britney’s April pregnancy announcement received a ton of love from fans of the star. 

‘So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby,’ penned the Womanizer hitmaker in the caption of her Instagram post.

Sam also confirmed the pregnancy news, referring to the popstar as a ‘lioness’ and sharing a painted image of two lions with their cub.

He wrote: ‘Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect.

‘Fatherhood is something I have always looked forward to and I don’t take lightly. It is the most important job I will ever do.’

Britney’s ex-husband Kevin even congratulated his former wife on her surprise pregnancy.

Sister Jamie Lynn Spears — whom she has been feuding with over her tell-all memoir — also liked the post
