Princess Charlotte’s failed curtsy and sweet way Queen Camilla reassured her

Queen Camilla was seen making a reassuring gesture towards her stepgrandaughterPrincess Charlotte aafter the youngster’s curtsy attempt didn’t go as planned during the Coronation Concert.

As part of the weekend’s coronation celebrations, members of the Royal Family descended on Windsor Castle on May 7 for the Coronation Concertwhich saw singers including Katy Perry and Lionel Richie perform.

While the event was watched by 20,000 people who had secured tickets, the royals sat in a designated royal box, with His and Her Majesty being the last individuals to take their seats before the event kicked off.

As a result, as outlined by royal protocol, other members of the Royal Family were required to either curtsy or gently give a nod of the head as the couple made their way to their seats.

However, in one sweet moment, Princess Charlotte, eight, appeared to lose her balance while curtseying to her grandfather and step grandmother, making her unable to follow the royal protocol.

While Charlotte managed to curtsy forthe King, she could be seen losing her footing slightly in the process, causing her to stumble and take a moment to compose herself and to see if anyone else had seen the small blunder.

Because of this, the Princess missed the opportunity to curtsy for Camilla. Rather than frown the Queen, who has young grandchidren of her own, offered her reassurance to Charlotte by gently patting her on the shoulder before quickly moving on.

Elsewhere at the event, Charlotte and her older brother George were seen getting into the spirit of the night’s festivities as they danced along with their parents the Prince and Princess of Wales.

In one adorable moment, the Wales siblings, whose younger brother Louis was absent from the event, could be seen excitedlypointing to their father Prince William as he took to the stage to give a heartfelt speech about King Charles.

As their father appeared on stage, Charlotte, who was said to be "very tired" after the Coronation ceremony earlier on in the weekend, perked up immediately, and gestured to her brother to look at their dad.

Royal fans took to Twitter to gush over the adorable moment, with one person writing: "Princess Charlotte nudging her brother as well. Super adorable."

Another said: "Whatever your thoughts on the Royal Family, you can’t fail to find Princess Charlotte joyfully pointing out her father to her brother when he appeared on stage incredibly heartwarming. A reminder that the key word in Royal Family is family #CoronationConcert."
