Sarah Jayne explained how she struggled financially being without work during the coronavirus pandemic and wanted a stable from of work to rely on.

When asked if it has been worth it, Sarah said: ‘Yes is the short answer. This not something ive done on a whim, I’d been thinking about it for months prior to launch. Lockdown is one of biggest reasons, it was difficult for all of us.

‘The uncertainty of knowing what was going to happen after, would I have a job to go back to? Financially it was difficult.

‘It was during that time I thought I needed something else that I can do that I can be creative and in control of. That’s where thought process came from. It’s been great. No regrets. It’s changed my life.’

Sarah went on to discuss how OnlyFans is different from her lads’ mag shoots, such as FHM, which she posed for back in the day.

Panellist Frankie Bridge, who has also posed for the same magazine, asked how it is different to sharing her own images on the X-rated photo site.

She said: ‘It is different because I’m in control. I get to control who im working with, what I’m doing. Make sure they’re not photoshopped.’

‘Sometimes I look back and think ‘that isn’t my body, that never was my body’. I’m doing this for me, it’s the same sort of shoots but now im in control of it.’

Christine Lampard noted that Johnathan is ‘very much apart’ of Sarah’s OnlyFans journey, saying: ‘It takes a strong other half. People are looking at you, you have to be secure in it. You take some of the pictures.’

He replied: ‘Not a lot has changed for me. You’ve just pointed out photos you used to do and photos on the platform aren’t any different. She feels safer posting those on only fans than she does on Instagram.

‘They used to direct message on Instagram. Sarah feels much safer using this platform that any other. If my wife feels safer im 100 per cent on board.’

When asked if there’s pressure to give more, Sarah said: ‘No, it’s a really nice platform. People are choosing to pay a subscription fee, and by that I mean pictures I’m not sharing anywhere else.’

‘Now I’ve got a safe space where I can put those images. People can send messages, it’s up to me whether I can reply.’

Broaching the subject of her Hollyoaks exit, Jane Moore said: ‘You’re 40, you’re in control 100 per cent, but hollyoaks gave you an ultimatum, their argument was a lot of Hollyoaks audience are young and they have a responsibly.’

She replied: ‘That’s not my experience of the platform. It’s your choice. It’s your body. For me it has been an easy transition. I have a platform and profile, I can’t say the same for Susan down the road. It’s not for me to comment on that.’

When asked about the sexual content on the site, Sarah said: ‘there is. Thats why its only over 18s. Anyone under 18 cant access any of the content on there, and i think thats much safer.

Sarah added that she has done both professional shoots and shoots at home, with snaps taken by her husband, who she calls John.

She also revealed she also checks in with her mother after taking the shots, saying: ‘I’ll go “oh mum” and she’ll go “that’s nice”.
