Sheree Zampino Recalls Fighting With Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Over Parenting

In a new interview, the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star, who shares son Trey with Will, recalls bumping heads with the ‘King Richard’ actor and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith over the matter.

AceShowbizSheree Zampino and ex-husband Will Smith showcase a good work when it comes to parenting, but it doesn’t come without a lot of effort. In a new interview, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star recalled bumping heads with Will and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith over the matter.

“I’m not gonna say that’s easy,” the 54-year-old star revealed during her appearance on the “Behind the Velvet Rope” podcast on Monday, August 1. She went on to say, “My heart is always for my child. My child comes first. He really does.”

The Bravo personality, who shares 29-year-old Trey together with Will, added, “When you have a mutual respect, it becomes easier.” As for Jada, who got married to the Oscar winner in December 1997, Sheree noted, “It was like, as long as she treats [Trey] well, we’re good. We’re good. And she’s treated him well and she’s loved him.”

Despite that, Sheree admitted that the trio had their ups and downs over the years. “You got three different dynamics, three different personalities and different belief systems, different way of doing things,” she explained. “And there were times we have bumped heads and it hasn’t been pretty. But listen, we get back on that horse and we press on. We do what we have to do because again, at the end of the day, it’s about the kids.”

Sheree, who split from the “King Richard” in 1995 after three years of marriage, remains supportive of Will. She was among those who celebrated Will’s Academy Award victory with the rest of his family, posing for a photo with his trophy after the ceremony. “Epic Night!” she wrote on Instagram back in March. “Congratulations again – when 1 wins we all win! #family1st.”

That aside, Sheree talked about her joining “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, joking that she’s slightly less excited about the prospect of him watching her on the show. “I don’t know how I feel about sending a text to Will and Jada saying, ‘I’m gonna be on the show about four minutes, can you watch the whole 44?’ ” she quipped. “I don’t feel called to do that.”
