It comes after Simon revealed Emma prefers a ‘fuller figure’ as he discussed his diet while taking part in I’m A Celebrity.
The actor discussed having to eat a ‘cow’s vagina’ on the show, leaving This Morning’s Josie Gibson and Vernon Kay in stitches.
Simon said: ‘With the isolation, I’ve not seen the kids and Emma for a month. I was allowed my phone back, it’s like being a prisoner.

‘I got my phone and was allowed to FaceTime her. She went, have you lost weight and I was like “check me out” and she was like “Ooh”.
‘Luckily for me, she does like the fuller figure. I’m still a chunky Manchester lad which thankfully she likes.’
Speaking about being away from Emma and his sons Alfie, 14, Harry, 12, and Henry, six, Simon added: ‘I didn’t do it on camera but when I got a chance to read the letter to myself it was so upsetting.

‘My little boy was in a play, he only just turned six on Saturday and he’s completely in control of the house. I’m frightened to death of him.’
The TV star also discussed the basic diet of rice and beans in the castle and admitted he sometimes looked forward to the grim eating trials, including one where he was forced to eat a cow’s vagina.
He said: ‘I thought it was going to be harder than it was. Knowing you’re always on rice and beans, it got about three or four days in and I was looking forward to eating rice and beans for breakfast.

‘The one thing I never thought I’d look forward to eating was a hairy vagina. Who looks forward to that? It turns out I had the largest vagina to eat.’
The remark caused co-hosts Josie Gibson and Vernon Kay to burst into laughter with Vernon jokingly reminding Simon it was 10am.
Simon also spoke about his former Coronation Street co-star Beverley Callard who he said has been ‘living her best life’ since she took part in I’m A Celebrity last year.
He said: ‘I’ve not spoken to the woman. She went into the castle and now she’s living her best life and I’ve not spoken to her again.’
It comes after Danny was crowned the winner of the series on Sunday.
The Emmerdale star, 30, sat on the throne and wore the floral crown after becoming the first male celebrity to win the show following its relocation to Gwrych Castle in north Wales – and later admitted he signed up so he could provide for his baby son.
Danny wasn’t able to be reunited with his seven-week old son Albert or his fiancée Steph as he left the castle due to Covid restrictions stopping families waiting for them as they leave.
