Stacey Solomon jokes she’s ‘very unfit’ during Easter egg hunt at Pickle Cottage

Stacey Solomon joked that she's "very unfit" during the family's epic Easter egg hunt around Pickle Cottage on Sunday (April 17).

The Loose Women presenter, 32, is renowned for her impressive home displays and she always makes the most of family celebrations.

Easter was no exception, as the star had designed and executed an intricate easter egg hunt in various hiding places around hers and fiancé Joe Swash's lavish grounds.

Taking to Instagram, Stacey, who recently shared a glimpse at her Easter table, posted updates of her children Zachary, 14, Leighton, nine, and Rex, two, running around the property looking for eggs while she sweetly pushed daughter Rose, six months, in her pram.

Giving insight into the Easter egg hunt, the mum-of-four joked: "Wish I'd have hid them closer turns out I'm very unfit."

Laughing, the star went on to say that while Zach and Joe had taken the game "far too seriously", it was little Rex who was the adorable star of the show.

As her children read out Stacey's creative clue: "Follow the bunny it has the chocolate," Rex repeated: "Follow the rabbits" in the most adorable voice.

Later on, the little boy ran back to his mum with a basket full of eggs as he called out excitedly: "Yes I got some!"

"Rex was so excited," Stacey gushed over her son, as the joyous family fun continued.

The star then finished off her Easter tour with a look at her stunning spring-themed front door, and a sweet Easter display on the steps that featured larger eggs and a plush Peter Rabbit toy.

Baby Rose even got the opportunity to hold a gold wrapped egg as she grinned at her mum behind the camera.

"Thumbs up for chocolate, oh Pickle we love you so so much," an emotional Stacey later posted, as she shared a picture of her happy beaming son Rex.

The Solomon-Swash family finished off their Easter Sunday with a roast dinner and a game of football for the boys, as Stacey showed her daughter eating bits of chicken and vegetables.

"Rose inhaling her first roast dinner like a true Solomon-Swash," the star laughed on her stories, also showing off her stunning flower displays on the dining table.
