Stacey posted a clip of her sons shouting ‘we want a beach’ while looking out of the window while a massive bag of sand was delivered.

Writing on the snap, she said: ‘The boys are losing it because I ordered some sand for Rex’s sandpit and somehow the whole of Southend Seafront has been delivered.

‘I need to start reading the measurements!’

She then laughed away as she explained that she did order the biggest bag on the company’s website and admitted that she did think it was expensive for a sand pit.

Stacey joked: ‘I thought maybe sand prices had gone up since Brexit of because no one is allowed to go to a beach so it’s like black market stuff these days!

Loving it: Stacey’s youngest little boy Rex could not stop giggling as he played in the sand and covered his white babygrow

Smart move: She first put down several black bin bags (left) to protect the floor before the boys helped bring up sand and spread it out

Going to take a while: Zachary and Leighton carried the sand upstairs in bowls, tipping it out onto the bin bags

‘Now I’ve seen it, I got an absolute bargain!’

Deciding to make the most of the mistake – and earn some serious cool mum points – Stacey put bin bags down in the bathroom for the beach.

Her grinning boys were seen heaving bowls of sand upstairs to cover the floor, clearly very excited that their idea was coming to life.

Sharing the fun accident to Instagram, Stacey penned: ‘Beach Life- in the bathroom! When your sandpit sand order isn’t what you expected and you don’t have any essential work in Dubai.

‘Tonight I caved. I feel like this might be the only beach they visit for quite a while so I thought why not ey… I’ll also be using this as bribery until the end of time…

‘The next time they say they don’t want to get out of bed, brush their teeth, eat their dinner, log on to teams I’m going to remind them of the time I said “ok then fine, let’s build a beach in the bathroom”

‘I’m not joking when I say. I can’t believe that after all of this the sand bag is still practically full. If anyone is in need of some sandpit sand I’m your girl!

‘Happy Wednesday love you all. P.S the colour difference in my bath after the big boys got out is cracking me up. P.P.S this is 100% ply pit sand I quadruple checked. It’s just i bought a bag to fill an entire playground instead of our sandpit!’
