Strictly's Ellie Leach hits partner Vito Coppola in the FACE

Strictly’s Ellie Leach hits partner Vito Coppola in the FACE and injures him for a FOURTH time after breaking his toes in rehearsals: ‘I’ve done it again!’

Strictly Come Dancing’s Ellie Leach accidentally injured professional partner Vito Coppola for a fourth time during Saturday’s show.

The former Corrie actress, 22, was so overwhelmed a score of 37 for their Paso Doble she accidentally hit the Italian hunk, 31, in the face while jumping for joy.

It happened just moments after the duo revealed to host Claudia Winkleman, 51, how Ellie had broken Vitto’s toes three times during rehearsals.

The actress said: ‘Vitto kept saying you need to be strong and I think at some point I was a little too strong and broke a few of his toes’.

‘Three times!’ her partner exclaimed.

Ouch! Strictly Come Dancing’s Ellie Leach, 22, accidentally injured her professional partner Vito Coppola, 31, for a fourth time during Saturday’s show

Accident! The former Corrie actress was so overwhelmed a score of 37 for their Paso Doble she accidentally hit the Italian hunk in the face while jumping for joy.

Only for Ellie to quip: ‘Well he did say everything comes in threes, so he asked for it!’.

Then after the judges gave their points the pair celebrated enthusiastically only for Vitto again to find himself injured.

As the dancer grasped his mouth in pain Ellie exclaimed: ‘I’ve injured him again!’.

While Claudia teased: ‘Everything comes in fours!’.

Elsewhere It seems nerves were getting the better of the contestants during the latest live show as the celebrities were plagued with mistakes.

As Week 5 of the BBC show kicked off the judges were upping their standards as they harshly critiqued the contestants.

Things didn’t get off to a good start as Nigel Harman kicked his partner Katya Jones after he messed up his footwork and was left making up the steps.

Later, Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer failed to impress the judges with their samba, leaving Shirley to question: ‘I don’t know what everyone had for their dinner but there’s a few mistakes going on.’

Dancing queen: It happened just moments after the duo revealed to host Claudia Winkleman , 51, how Ellie had broken Vitto’s toes three times during rehearsals

Agony: As the dancer grasped his mouth in pain Ellie exclaimed: ‘I’ve injured him again!’

Commenting on the harsh comments from the judges, Claudia stated: ‘Craig is very Week 5 tonight.’

Despite Nigel’s impressive salsa last Saturday, his foxtrot left the judges unimpressed as they picked up on his inaccurate footwork.

Speaking with Claudia, even the Casualty actor himself admitted: ‘I kicked Katya and then made up the steps for a bit.’

To which Katya replied: ‘I didn’t even notice the mistake, he was leading me through the dance.’

Incredible: Their performance was lauded by the judges and saw them race up the leader board

Painful: Then after receiving their scores the pair celebrated enthusiastically only for Vitto again to find himself injured

Meanwhile Eddie and Karen’s salsa left Motsi almost telling the comedian off, as she remarked: ‘The footwork should be better by now.’

They might have enjoyed his hip movement, but the technique was not enough.

Feeling very picky with their comments Craig earlier remarked that Annabel Croft’s Charleston had ‘no swivel’ as the judges commented that the nerves seemed to have got to her too.
