In a new episode of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’, the series regular proves that she and her ex-husband are still on good terms two years after finalizing divorce.
AceShowbiz –Teresa Giudice proved she is still on good terms with her ex-husband. Four years after Joe Giudice got deported back to Italy, the series regular of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” openly expressed her hope for her ex-husband to be able to make his return to the United States.
In the Tuesday, May 2 episode of her hit reality series, the 50-year-old could be seen prepping for her nuptials with current husband Luis Ruelas. When her daughters had a fitting of their bridesmaid dresses for her special event, her ex Joe FaceTimed their eldest, Gia.
The FaceTime call gave Teresa a chance to briefly chat with Joe. At one point during their chat, she got emotional and said, “Joe, I’m gonna keep praying every day that I hope one day you can come back here.” Joe responded positively as he thanked her, “Thank you, Tre.”
Joe went on to say, “I’m glad that you’s are happy, and that things are going the way they are, and I appreciate everything that you’re doing over there for my kids because, you know, I can’t be there, and everybody deserves to be happy and as long as you’s are happy, that’s all that matters.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Teresa explained the conversation she had with Joe. She elaborated, “Joe wishing me happiness just shows how far we’ve come. I’m so proud of how we’ve continued our relationship, stayed connected. And I know that makes our daughters happy. He’s always gonna be in my life.”
Teresa and Joe were charged with federal fraud crimes back in 2013. Unfortunately for Joe, in 2019, after serving 41 months in prison, he was deported to Italy. A few months after Joe’s move, the former couple split. They finalized their divorce after 20 years of marriage in September 2020.
Teresa and Joe have four daughters together, 22-year-old Gia, 19-year-old Gabriella, 17-year-old Milania and 13-year-old Audriana. Teresa has since found new love in Luis whom she married in August 2022.
