Trinny Woodall ‘split from Charles Saatchi due to age gap struggles’

Trinny Woodall opens up about house move

Trinny Woodall, 59, and millionaire Charles Saatchi, 79, started dating in 2013 after his divorce from presenter Nigella Lawson, 63.

However, over the weekend the beauty mogul seemingly hinted at their split on Instagram as she spoke about “a big life change”.

Now, friends of Trinny have reportedly told The Sun that the couple has called it quits, with their 20-year age gap being a contributing factor to their relationship’s downfall.

The sources claimed that the 59-year-old had simply grown “tired of life” with the businessman and felt it was “time to move on”, although noted their 10 years together had been “happy”.

They claimed that “their age difference started to become an issue” as Charles wanted to start slowing down their chaotic career and personal lives while Trinny wanted the exact opposite.

At 59, the fashion expert reportedly feels “she’s in her prime” and wants to spend her days and evenings “out and about” while Charles would rather have some quiet time in their comfortable home.

The Trinny London founder is currently in France with some of her family on a ski holiday and shared an emotional moment on Friday which filled fans with speculation about her relationship.

Pointing the camera at a window looking out on a tranquil landscape, Trinny told her 1.2 million followers: “I have looked out at this view for the last 30 years of my life. It’s the one consistent view I have ever had.

“Recently with the big life change and moving house it was important for me to come back here with Lyla and family just to have that moment, listen to the birds, be at one with nature. Very healing.”

Lyla is Trinny’s 19-year-old daughter from her previous marriage to the late drummer Johnny Elichaoff, who tragically died in 2014.

In another post over the weekend, the entrepreneur wrote: “It’s a new day, it’s a new dawn, it’s a new life…”

Trinny said in the clip, as she spoke about starting a new fitness routine with Nathalie Hayward: “It’s been a while since we’ve been in the mood and the right location to consider looking after our body and I have moved. This is my new backdrop, Nat is here, so it’s all back to a little bit of rhythm.”

Charles Saatchi’s representatives declined to comment on this story and Express.co.uk has contacted Trinny Woodall’s representatives for comment.
