Wendy Williams calls Vogue Editor Anna Wintour a ‘shriveled up old, mean prune’ for ignoring her at a party
Five-time Daytime Emmy nominee Wendy Williams is still angry at Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour for snubbing her at a party years ago.
‘[She] turned her back to me. And she did it purposefully. I saw the whole thing,’ the 56-year-old presenter told E! Daily Pop’s Justin Sylvester on Thursday.
‘I said to her person, tap, tap, tap, “Excuse me, I just wanted to say hi to Anna.” And so the person gave me the wink and the, “She doesn’t want to talk to you.”

‘I said, “Anna, I hear you don’t want to talk to me! It’s okay. It’s more fun talking about you! See you tomorrow morning at 10! It’s big old Wendy Williams! Bye!”‘
Wendy continued: ‘Give us a break, Anna Wintour. Behind your glasses, you think you’re so cool. You think you’re so Hollywood. You know what she looks like? She looks like a shriveled up old, mean prune. Who probably is not happy in her real life.’
However, Williams did give the British 71-year-old credit for having a nice hairstyle, scoffing: ‘I don’t like having to do proper fashion.’
The New Jersey-born talk show host also talked about dating since ending her 22-year marriage to philandering ex-husband #2 Kevin Hunter in January 2020.

‘It’s a wonderful feeling to be told you’re beautiful by somebody else to be touched by somebody else,’ Wendy smiled.
‘Ultimately, I would like to get married one day, oh, with a prenuptial agreement and I don’t want to be a second mother to your children. None of that. I want to marry a man not a boy.’
