I’m a cleaning pro – my 3 tips for making chores easier including no-scrub methods for your oven & rust | The Sun

FOLLOWING a motto like “work harder, not smarter” is absolutely brilliant when it comes to cleaning your home.

There are several ways you can simplify the cleaning process whether it’s with your laundry or your dishes.

Instagram user and organizing expert Chantel Mila uploaded a video with three cleaning hacks that will make a huge difference for many people.

Whiter laundry

Chantel's first tip is to ensure that your white clothing comes out cleaner and brighter than ever before.

Anyone who believes denture tablets are solely used for the hygiene of fake teeth is totally wrong about that.

She says: “Soak dingy white clothes with two denture tablets to whiten them quickly.”

Chantel also informer her followers that denture tablets work great when whitening bathroom sinks – as long as they are mixed with warm water for 30 minutes.

Oven wipe down

Chantel's second tip is dedicated to making your oven sparkle as if it's brand new.

“Use a dishwashing tablet on a wet sponge to clean your oven easily,” she explains.

“The dishwashing tablet helps cut through tough oven messes and the sponge helps lift away the grime.”

In the video, Chantel is seen wiping every inch of her oven down, cutting through any grease stains that might be present.

Sparkling knives

No one wants to see unsightly water stains or rust spots on utensils made of stainless steel.

There's a way to make sure that your knives are sparkling in a way that makes them look like you just brought them home from the store.

Chantel says: “Remove rust spots on knives and stainless steel by sprinkling them with baking soda and rubbing them with lemon juice."

The reason this combination works is that the citric acid overpowers the rust.

The baking soda comes into play by helping buff away any extra residue.

Chantel's comment section on Instagram is filled with people who are curious to try her ideas.
