A CLEANING pro has tested the brand new Scrub Mummy Power Gel to see how it holds up against common cleaning woes.

Kirsten took to TikTok to share her first impressions of the new universal household cleaner – and while it’s ideal for tackling grubby grout or scaly sinks, she found wasn’t a hit when it came to the hob.

Known online as @southernescape, the savvy mum from North Carolina, USA, regularly shares her top cleaning tips and handy home hacks with her 1.4 million followers.

In a new reel, she said: “Oh, what is this? Scrub Mummy Power Gel.

“Okay, we’re going to try a bunch of different stuff.”

During the 31-second reel, Kristen is seen trialling the new product, first on her limescale-covered sink.

“It says, put it on, let it sit, scrub it off. Don’t seem that hard. Let’s see what we’re working with.

“Hmm… didn’t work. Okay, moving on.”

Finally, she tests out whether it’ll leave her kitchen grout looking good as new.

She added: “My son squished a blackberry into my kitchen floor because he don’t give a f***.

“So let’s see… it works. I love it.”

Cleaning fans are still waiting for the Scrub Daddy Powerase Gel + Scrub Mommy Scrubber Sponge combo to hit UK shelves, however in the US it’ll set shoppers back just $9.98 (£8) at Walmart.

Fans loved her honest review, with the video gaining more than 69,700 likes and 1.8 million views.

In the comments, TikTokkers shared their reactions, with one writing: “ooooh I like the power paste hopefully this is good too.”
