A MONEY-SAVING flight attendant has revealed she got married at the unclaimed baggage centre to bring the costs down.
Appearing on Extreme Cheapskates, cabin crew attendant, Stephanie claimed she looked at every possible way to save money, even when it came to her big wedding day.
With the world experiencing a global cost-of-living crisis, many are trying to think of different ways to cut the their spending, and the US-based flight attendant is no exception.
''My mother used to say 'Make sure you turn out the light before you leave the room.'
''And of course, nobody pays attention to that – until I started paying the bill.''
Now, as an adult, Stephanie said she would turn off all the power at the circuit breaker.

As well as being able to travel the world, Stephanie's job provides her with another bonus – free food that the passengers have left behind.
Showing off her fridge, which resembled a at-home deli, according to her husband, Stephanie said: ''The food is perishable items – they're gonna throw it away if I don't take it home.

While she is not allowed to take unopened sachets of nuts with her, Stephanie's more than willing to stack her bag full of already opened packets.

The crafty woman has also found a way for old pillowcases – after some boiling in hot water to get rid of any dirt or potential lice, she will cut them up in some triangles to make DIY cofffee filters.
''I'll always hunt for the best bargains and the cheapest way to get it done, even when it comes to an engagement ring.''
To find the perfect ring, the couple set off to an unclaimed baggage centre in Alabama, full of lost and found items.
But despite wanting to spend a max of £60 for a real diamond ring, Stephanie very soon learned that her husband-to-be might have to be willing to add a little extra.
Here, one of the shop assistants also suggested the couple an idea – to celebrate the big wedding day at the shop.
''Jimmy and I said 'I do' at the unclaimed baggage centre.
''It was just a bargain that was too good to pass up.
''For less than $500 (£400), we just got married.''
Stephanie's many saving habits left viewers divided, with one chuckling: ''Poor guy. Went shopping for a t-shirt, left with a marriage…''
''I bet their honeymoon is gonna be at McDonald’s,'' another joked.
