I’m an upcycling pro – how to make anything from a changing table to a toaster look incredible without spending a penny

WHEN saving money is a must, it would be stupid to throw away old furniture and things you no long have use for.

That's why the upcycling expert took to TikTok to share some of the amazing ways she's transformed things around her home.

Sarah, a designer and sustainability pro from Texas, shares her savvy hacks on social media.

She says she knows not everyone can afford pricey renovations, so she helps people rework what they already have to make it look luxurious and "right out of a designer magazine."

She suggests to never throw away furniture because it can always be transformed into something else.

Sarah transformed an old baby changing table into a modern looking and fully functional bar cart, and paid nothing for it.

Simply sticking down some old wallpaper she had left over, along with a lick of paint the table looked unrecognisable.

She shares that many shops give away samples of wallpaper for free, so don't fear if you don't have any laying around.

Another genius design trick she shared was to repurpose old tennis and badminton rackets to make a cool wall design.

This hack works especially great in kid's rooms and can even be turned into a fun family task.

If you want to add some bathroom bliss, Sarah says to get imaginative and use an old baby gate as magazine rack.

Even those with the most basic DIY skills can try out the designer's tips.

She used old glass bottles as soap dispensers, simply filling with soap and instead of a bottle cap, screw on a pump.

Sarah says that once you get the hang of upcycling, its easy to get more creative, "I've even turned a toaster into a chandelier! She jokes.
