My caramel apple pie nachos taste insanely decadent at 145 cals – they're the calorie deficit dessert of the century | The Sun

A FOOD influencer has shared a calorie-deficit dessert that helped her lose weight.

She said the caramel apple pie nachos were her dessert of the century.

Leigh (@leighdoescaloriedeficit) shared the recipe with her TikTok followers.

"I am not kidding when I say these low-calorie caramel apple pie nachos are the perfect fall treat while fitting nicely into your calorie deficit or Weight Watchers plan," she said.

"They are super simple to make and taste insanely decadent despite having just 145 calories!"

Leigh chopped up an apple and added 2 tablespoons of the sweetener of her choice, a splash of vanilla extract, and a teaspoon of cinnamon.

Next, she incorporated a pinch of xanthum gum, mixing it all up.

She greased up a pan and added the apple mixture, baking it for eight minutes at 400 degrees.

Next, she grabbed low-calorie tortillas and sectioned them into eight pie pieces.

After spraying the tortillas with a bit of oil, she sprinkled sweetener and cinnamon over them and air-fried the tortillas for five to eight minutes at 400 degrees.
