A WOMAN who was given a made up name by her mum has admitted she hated it – until she met her husband.
She explained that her mum chose to name her after her own parents – her dad Ron and mum Dolly Ann.
"And so she just combined the two together and said that that was a name – one name – and that's what she gave me," RonAnn said.
"I used to hate it – like absolutely hate it.
"When people would read it on paper they would call me Ronan because I guess that's a common male name in another country.
"And I would just let them call me that because my other option would be to admit to them that my mother really named me RonAnn."

When she was 15, she met a boy who ended up being her husband – who goes by Jacob.
But when she saw his driving license, she realised that his Christened name was very different.
"I was like, 'What is this? Your mum really named you ErniLee?'" she remembered.
"And that's when I realised – RonAnn ain't that bad.

"At least my grandpa's name wasn't Ernest Leeroy because I could have ended up ErniLee.
"Nope, I just got RonAnn."
"Happy to be ronann at this point," she added in the caption for her TikTok video.
People were quick to weigh in on RonAnn's unique moniker in the comments section, as one wrote: "My grandma was creative with my moms name. My dad cannot pronounce it.
"Her siblings all have very common names like Ann, Tim, etc."
To which RonAnn replied: "I have a sister named Jessica and a brother named Matthew. Then there’s me."
She also revealed in response to another comment that she goes by Cassidy, because "RonAnn was my given name and I grew up in hiding".
But other people admitted she's not the only one to have ended up with a unique name due to two being combined.
"I know someone named Randonna," one wrote.
"Dad named Randal mom named Donna lmfao."
"In my family we have a Joden. Joe and Dennis = Joden," another commented.
