This year the royal Christmas is expected to return to Sandringham after plans were scuppered for two years running due to COVID-19. Kate, Princess of Wales is likely to be in attendance wearing yet another impeccable outfit for the festivities.


For her first Christmas at Sandringham as a member of the Royal Family, Kate donned a purple outfit complete with a velvet fascinator and matching clutch bag. She kept things simple with her black heels and tight combo and a pair of black gloves.


In 2013 Kate opted for a blue and green tartan coatdress which she matched her green fascinator to perfectly. She added a pair of small drop earrings and heeled boots to her ensemble.


The future Queen Consort opted for a brown tweed coat perfect for the Norfolk countryside while attending the Christmas Day church service in 2015. She opted for a patterned silk scarf and a statement brown cap with bow detailing.


Kate wore a green ensemble for her Christmas Day appearance in Norfolk in 2015. She accessorised her Max Mara coat with knee-high black boots, matching gloves and a dainty hat.


Kate spent Christmas in Bucklebury, Berkshire with the Middleton family in 2016, and she was snapped with her husband Prince William and their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte attending church on Christmas Day morning. Kate wore a maroon coat with a fur neckline and a pair of block heels. Adorably, Charlotte’s purple tights perfectly matched her mum’s clutch bag.


The Princess of Wales was expecting her son Prince Louis while attending the Sandringham church service in 2017, and she wrapped up warm in a tartan Miu Miu coat. She added black accessories including a fur hat, gloves, tights and block heels.


Kate wore top-to-toe red for Christmas Day in Sandringham with the Sussexes. She wore a Catherine Walker coat in berry red which she paired with a matching headband and suede pumps. She also wore purple gloves and carried a matching clutch, tying the outfit together with a diamond leaf brooch.


The Princess stunned in a grey coat with furry accents on the neckline and sleeves while attending church with Princess Charlotte in 2015. Kate wore a green fascinator, green block heels and a green clutch, all the same shade as Charlotte’s green coat.
