Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor’s boyfriend ‘burning off’ tattoos for movie roles

Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor’s boyfriend has revealed he is "burning off" his tattoos so he can land more film roles.

Pete Davidson and actress Phoebe are currently an item and were pictured together for the first time last month enjoying a romantic stroll.

The 27-year-old comedian broke Covid quarantine rules to hook up with his girlfriend whilst she was filming her latest project in Stoke-on-Trent.

And in a bid to boost his own acting career, American comic Pete admitted he wants to get more jobs in Hollywood having starred in movies The Suicide Squad and The King of Staten Island.

“I honestly never thought that I would get the opportunity to act and I love it a lot,” admitted the Saturday Night live comedian, speaking on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

“You have to get there three hours earlier to cover all your tattoos, because for some reason, people in movies, they don't have them that much.”

And budding actor Pete admitted the process of getting his ink removed is actually “worse”' than the pain that comes with getting the original tattoo itself.

“So now I'm burning them off, but burning them off is worse than getting them,” he admitted.

“Because not only are they, like, burning off your skin, but you're wearing these big goggles, right? So you can't see anything and the doctor's in there with you.

“So before he goes to laser each tattoo, you have to hear him announce what the tattoo is to make sure if you want to keep it or not.

“So I'll just be sitting there all high off of the [nitrous oxide] … and then all of a sudden I'll just hear, "Are we keeping the Stewie Griffin smoking a blunt?" And then I have to sit there and be like, "No, Dr. G."

It’s unclear how long Peter and Phoebe, 26, have been dating, but he flew all the way from America to see his girlfriend.

He flew into London’s Heathrow Airport and rushed to see Phoebe, best known for role in the smash Netflix series Bridgerton.

The couple were also pictured at a supermarket in Greater Manchester, close to wear Phoebe’s famous mum lives.

Phoebe’s mum is Sally Dynevor, who plays the character Sally Webster in the long-running ITV soap Coronation Street.

Sally has played Sally in Corrie since 1986 and has been awarded an MBE for her services to drama.
