Danny Dyer has spoken out about the happy news that he's now a granddad for the third time aged just 45.

His daughter Dani announced the arrival of her twin girls on Instagram on Thursday (May 25), with just the date of their birth and a gorgeous picture of them in matching pink babygrows and headbands.

The twins' dad is her boyfriend footballer Jarrod Bowen, who plays for West Ham.

Dani, 26, is already mum to Santiago, from her relationship with her ex Sammy Kimmence.

Proud granddad Danny seemed rather pleased about the new additions to his family as he simply commented: "Can't stop smiling!"

Love Island winner Dani announced she was expecting twins five months ago by sharing an adorable picture of Santiago, two, holding up a picture of a scan and a sign saying: "I'm going to be a big brother to twins".

Dani said: "Our little TWINS. So excited to meet our babies and watch santi be the best big brother.

"The biggest surprise of our lives but feeling SO blessed.. our family is getting a lot bigger and we can’t wait."

She has been dating Jarrod, also 26, since 2021.

Dani also revealed the gender of the twins on Instagram with a gushing post, saying: A lot of you have been asking about the gender of our babies and we are so excited to share with you all that we are having identical twin girls."

TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou penned: "Beautiful Can’t wait to meet them", as Ferne McCann added: "Congratulations. They are so cute."

Former Made in Chelsea star Ashley James gushed: "'Oh wow congratulations," while radio presenter and Dancing on Ice winner Sonny Jay shared: "Congratulations".

Dani won Love Island back in 2018 with Jack Fincham but they split not long after the show finished.
