EastEnders lovebirds Jack Branning and Denise Fox finally tied the knot on Christmas Day.

The Walford hunk has had his fair share of heartbreak in Albert Square, especially after love of his life Ronnie Mitchell died on their wedding day back in 2017.

However, he is hoping for a new start after marrying Denise in a double wedding ceremony with her daughter Chelsea Fox and Gray Atkins.

Anything can happen in soap land however so will it be happy every after for both couples?

Outside of EastEnders, Jack actor Scott Maslen is happily married to his very famous wife, with who he has a lookalike son, and he also had a secret career as a model.

Daily Star has taken a look back at Scott's life away from the cameras.

Life before EastEnders

Before becoming Jack Branning on BBC soap EastEnders in 2007, Scott Maslen had a hugely successful career in another popular series – The Bill.

From 2002-2007, Scott played DS Phil Hunter in the long running ITV series, before his character moved his way on up to Sergeant.

That's not all though, as he also provided voice work for two Grand Theft Audio video games, appeared as Jamie in the Lock, Stock tv series and had a number of roles in shows such as Peak Practice and Heartbeat – Scott has certainly had a busy career.

Modelling career

If you thought that acting was all that Scott was well-known for, then you might be surprised to learn that he also had a hugely successful career as a model in his early twenties.

After being spotted while working in Miami by famous photographer Bruce Webber, Scott was signed up as a model for some of the biggest names in the fashion business including Armani and Versace.

However after five years working as a model, he trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama alongside close friend Orlando Bloom, before becoming the acting star we know today.

He still shows off his signature fashionable side though, both on Albert Square in one of Jack Branning's many suits, and in real life, with the actor regularly seen in a number of stylish outfits in photos he posts on social media.

Scott recently delighted fans too while he was out and about in London, as he was snapped showing off his toned muscles in a grey vest, while outside for a run.

It's no surprise too that with Scott's good looks, he was also voted the Sexiest Male at the British Soap Awards for three years on the run from 2009-2012.

Famous wife

Although Jack Branning has faced plenty of heartbreak on Albert Square, in real life, Scott Maslen is happily married to DJ and music producer Estelle Rubio.

Scott and Estelle have been together since 1999 and married in 2008, with the ceremony attended by many of Scott's EastEnder's co-stars including Patsy Palmer, Steve McFadden and the late Dame Barbara Windsor.

The couple regularly share photos of their life together on social media, including one adorable photo, where Scott can be seen sitting down on a chair with his arms around Estelle, who looks stunning in a gorgeous white and silver dress.

The photo gets even sweeter too, as their cute dog chewbacca is also sat in front of them.

Estelle is a star in her own right, having worked with some of the biggest names in the music business including Basement Jaxx, Clean Bandit and La Roux, as well as DJ'ing around the world at events including the International Remix Competition.

She also has a huge circle of celebrity friends through her work, including Sophie Ellis Bextor and Ronnie Wood's ex-wife Jo Wood.

Lookalike son

Scott and Estelle have one son called Zack, who is the spitting image of his famous dad.

The 19-year old regularly features in Scott's social media posts, with dad Scott often paying tribute to his son in the photo and video captions.

Posing for a photo with his son on Instagram, Scott said: "Chilling with my not so little boy," with fans commenting on their resemblance.

One said: "Twins for real," with a second adding: "Is he your son? Wow."

A third fan said: "You look like brothers, definitely was confused at the caption."
