Grand National Ladies Day has arrived (April 8, 2022) – with all eyes not just on the races, but the celebrity appearances too.
Ladies Day is known to attract some of the biggest names in sport, music and TV, with past celebrities popping by the races including Coleen Rooney, Jack Whitehall, Peter Kay, Christine McGuinness and many more.
The outfits of attendees on the day – including the celebrity looks – are as famous as the races themselves, with the world ready to see the best dressed at the event.
To celebrate the return of Grand National Ladies Day, Daily Star takes a look at some of the stunning celebrity outfits from past events.
Sally Nugent & Steph McGovern
BBC Breakfast presenter Sally Nugent looked fabulous as she arrived at Grand National Ladies Day 2017 alongside colleague at the time Steph McGovern.
Sally looked chic and refined wearing a navy blue knee length a-line dress with a small collar, complete with matching high heeled navy shoes.
She looked radiant as she posed for photographs alongside Steph, who also looked incredible wearing a black knee length body con dress – paired with eye catching red high heels.
Speaking about Ladies Day, Sally told Manchester Evening News that she had been attending the event since she was five years old, saying: "Ladies Day is a special day in the Liverpool sporting calendar, I love the way people get dressed up, make a huge effort and I’m so proud to come from Liverpool."
Alison Hammond
This Morning presenter Alison Hammond looked beautiful as she stepped out for Grand National Ladies Day in 2017.
The TV host wore a gorgeous blue floral midi dress, complimented by an eye popping bright blue cardigan and large white hat, framing Alison's flowing shoulder length hair.
She looked radiant as she finished the look with a pop of red lipstick and floral print sandals, with Alison's signature smile delighting attendees as posed for photos.
Gabby Allen
Author and TV personality Gabby Allen was known for her stunning looks on the 2015 series of Love Island, and she certainly brought the glamour at Grand National Ladies Day 2018.
The star wore a one sleeved, white bodycon dress with sweetheart neckline that showed off her gorgeous curves and toned pins, paired with a black fascinator for a classy finish.
The orange bow in the fascinator added a pop of colour to the beautiful monochromatic outfit, which was finished with black strappy high heels to complete the look.
Paddy and Christine McGuinness
Paddy and Christine McGuinness looked like Hollywood film royalty as they posed for a sweet social media snap, ahead of Grand National Ladies Day 2018.
Christine's jaw dropping look featured a figure hugging red bodycon dress that flowed over the model's eye popping curves, while her smoky eye makeup and beautiful blonde locks added a dazzling finish.
Husband Paddy also looked as dapper as ever, posing alongside Christine in a fitted grey suit and brogues, as the couple snuggled up together ahead of the big day.

Entrepreneur and model Coleen Rooney is a familiar face at Grand National Ladies Day, having regularly been spotted at the event alongside husband and footballer Wayne Rooney.
Coleen showed off another fashionable look at Ladies Day 2018 as she arrived at the event in a long black flowing gown, complete with sexy plunging neckline and fabric choker necklace.
She finished off the look with an up-do hairstyle, silver high heeled shoes and a sun-kissed tan, adding an extra touch of glamour to the beautiful look.
Amanda Clapham
Hollyoaks actress Amanda Clapham arrived at Grand National Ladies Day 2017 in a jaw dropping outfit, alongside her fellow soap stars Nikki Sanderson and Tamara Wall.
Amanda's busty multi-coloured tube dress showed off the actress' washboard abs and toned figure, with all eyes on Amanda as she smiled for the cameras in the sun.
Complete with sunglasses, a half up-half down hairstyle and a sun-kissed tan, Amanda oozed glamour and sex appeal in the racy outfit.
Rebecca Ferguson
X Factor star, singer and actress Rebecca Ferguson was the very essence of glamour and sophistication at Grand National Ladies Day in 2015.
