Strictly Come Dancing's It Takes Two host Janette Manrara confessed the cringey moment her former celebrity partner Peter Andre walked in on her watching his music video for his hit song Mysterious Girl.
The 37-year-old Cuban-American has worked with some big names while working on the hit BBC One dance competition, and many of them she is still close friends with to this day.
Loyal Strictly fans will remember one of her most memorable partnerships was with the 90s pop singer back in 2015.
And despite the fact that their dancing days working together are now long behind them, the brunette beauty revealed that she is still good friends with the Flava singer and regularly talk during their down time.
In an exclusive chat with the Daily Star, the ballroom dancer confessed one of the most embarrassing moments she had while she was training with the 48-year-old during the charity event Together For Short Lives on Tuesday.
She revealed: “Peter’s a really good friend, we talk all the time. I remember the funniest story with Peter is that I had never seen the music video for Mysterious Girl.
“I’d heard the song so when we started partnering [on Strictly] and started dancing together all the girls in hair and makeup were like, ‘What?! You’ve not seen the video?’
“He walked in on me watching it and he turned purple, red, blue, he was so embarrassed.”
But he wasn’t the only one was embarrassed as she admitted she was also left red-faced that the singer himself had caught her watching the iconic music video.
She added: “Yeah! I was like, ‘They told me to watch it’ and he was like, ‘I do not look like that anymore!’”
It comes after the professional dancer slammed claims that she’s encouraging off-screen chemistry between Sara Davies and her pro dancer husband Aljaž Škorjanec.
Dragons’ Den star Sara revealed in a recent interview that the Strictly: It Takes Two host had urged her to build upon her on-screen relationship with Aljaž.
Sara said at the time: “Janette gave me a right talking to about it. She said, ‘Look Sara, you’re going to have to look into his eyes and imagine that my husband is actually your husband and imagine it’s Simon and dance it like it’s him’.
“She said, ‘I’m good with it, Simon is good with it, you have to be good with it’.”
But in a recent chat with Janette at the Pride of Britain Awards, the dancer slammed the idea she meant anything more than improving their performance.
She clarified: “Yes, you are doing the rumba, so she has to look at him like he’s her own husband, they’re telling a love story, and that song means a lot to her and it always reminds her of her husband.
“I told her, ‘For the dance, you need to take him, he’s yours.’ And they did really well. When they dance together it’s their moment, he’s hers in that moment.”
