Katie Price’s ex Alex Reid gets ultimate revenge after training MMA fighter

Katie Price's ex-husband has taken aim at her and her fiancé Carl Woods as he exacts revenge for their failed marriage.

Former Cage Fighter Alex Reid has revealed he is training Carl's Celebrity MMA opponent in preparation for their fight next month.

Carl, 33, is set to fight it out with Geordie Shore's Robbie McMahon and Alex, 46, has admitted if he loses it will be his "karma" for how things turned out with him and Katie, 43.

Alex and Katie got hitched in February 2010 after a whirlwind romance that saw her walking down the aisle just nine months after her divorce from Peter Andre.

However, the love affair was short-lived and the couple split up after less than a year, going their separate ways and getting divorced.

Speaking to MailOnline Alex said: "I'm trying to get Robbie in the best possible shape to win the fight. I want him to be an elite level fighting machine.

"I'm being professional and won't let what's happened between myself and Katie get in the way of how we prepare.

"But let's just say I'm determined to get Robbie where he needs to win and him beating Carl would be karma for what she's put me through."

There is no love lost between Katie and Alex who have had several public arguments since their split.

The former glamour model was ordered to pay him £140,000 in legal costs in 2019 when she allegedly shared a sex tape of him with the audience while filming Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side in January 2018.

Meanwhile, Carl reportedly broke a rib during his own gruelling training sessions for the fight in recent weeks.

A source told The Sun: “Carl suffered a fractured rib during training for his upcoming Celeb MMA fight. He’s been working so hard in the build-up so obviously, this injury setback is a massive blow.

"It’s thought to be a hairline fracture and is so painful that Carl’s been crying in pain. He’s devastated but determined to stay positive about his fight, even though it’s been thrown into jeopardy.”
