Peter Andre speaking Greek to son Junior as teen starts to learn language

Katie Price and Peter Andre's son Junior Andre has revealed he is trying to learn Greek.

The teen has explained that while he has dropped Spanish at school, he is keen to get to grips with Greek in a nod to his father's heritage.

While Peter was born in London before relocating to Australia when he was six, he is of Greek Cypriot descent.

Junior, 13, said: "I can read it but I can't speak it.

"I can read it but I can't understand it."

The rising star added: "When my dad speaks to me in Greek I can kind of understand it but I am learning.

"I used to learn Spanish but I've dropped it now."

Junior is hoping to follow in Peter's footsteps and bag himself a career in the charts.

He added: "Will Smith is my idol as he has done and does what I want to do – music and acting."

Singer Peter, 47, has released 10 albums since his debut record in 1993.

He released his biggest hit Mysterious Girl in 1995 which peaked at No2 in the UK.

In 2006 he released a joint album with Katie Price which included a cover of Disney classic A Whole New World.

Meanwhile, Katie has also tried to launch a music career, though has failed to gain any success.

She famously tried to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest with her song Not Just Anybody.

During the Making Your Mind Up stage, a heavily pregnant Katie rocked an uber-tight pink catsuit and larger-than-life cleavage.

In 2017 Katie dropped single I Got U.

The auto-tuned dance track sadly failed to chart.

But while her music career never took off, Katie's TV ventures are going from strength to strength.

Her BBC documentary Harvey and Me was met with mass praise and already a second documentary following Harvey moving to a residential collage is in the works.
