Peter Andre’s son Junior poses in the studio after signing first record deal

Peter Andre’s son Junior has given fans an exclusive glimpse inside his recording studio just days after he followed in his father’s musical footsteps and signed his first record deal.

The 16-year-old shared the behind-the-scenes clip on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday as he flaunted the decked out production room complete with a huge mixing desk, several computer screens and amps.

The young lad couldn’t wait to get stuck in as he got to work writing his new music at the Columbia Records studio in London, the music company which also works with the likes of Harry Styles and Calvin Harris.

While he laid down some new tunes, the star asked his loyal legion of fans: “What’s everyone doing today?” as he excitedly teased his new music set to drop in the next few months later this year.

Later that afternoon, Junior took a break from the studio to support an Extinction Rebellion protest in the heart of London which he shared with 465,000 followers online.

The up-and-coming artist first revealed his exciting news to his doting followers last Saturday as he admitted his music career has been a work in progress with his chart-topping father for the past six months.

He told his fans: “These past six months have been hectic. But I've loved every single second of it.

“My dad took me to the studio 6 months ago and got me in the booth at @rebelrecs. Since then I have secretly been working on a massive project, and not long ago got a call saying @columbiauk want to sign me!”

His doting dad is no stranger to the music industry as the renowned artist had a handful of No1 singles throughout his pop career in the 90s.

Pete's biggest hit was his 1996 track Mysterious Girl which peaked at No1 in New Zealand, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

His mother Katie Price also found brief success in the music industry but mostly found her fame as a glamour model before the pair met during I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2004.
