The Chase’s Jenny Ryan dazzles at TV BAFTAs after glamorous transformation

The Chase star Jenny Ryan looked incredible as she walked the red carpet at the TV BAFTAs after a glamorous makeover.

The brainiac beauty was a far cry from her menacing appearance on the ITV quiz show as she stepped out with her co-stars.

Jenny, 40, wowed the waiting photographers in an emerald green gown which featured a deep V-neck and floaty sleeves.

The sequinned garment flowed down her frame and finished at her ankles, with some chunky black heels giving her a heightened appearance.

The beauty had her blonde hair styled in old Hollywood curls, reminiscent of icons such as Marilyn Monroe.

Delicate pearl-headed pins kept the style in place, with half of it being pulled away from her pretty face while some strands fell by her ear.

She opted for some angular oversized glasses, and made her lips the statement of her look with a matte red shade.

Jenny accessorised with a string of pearls around her neck as well as matching stud earrings, while she painted her nails a metallic green.

The ITV regular was on the red carpet with her co-stars Anne Hegerty, Mark Labbett and Paul Sinha.

The Chase Australia star Issa Schultz was also with them, with Anne revealing that he had filmed the new series of Beat The Chasers in her place as she tested positive for Covid before production started.

Speaking to Daily Star on the red carpet, Anne said: "The reason why he’s here is because Beat The Chasers starts a week tomorrow, May 16, and the week before we were filming I tested positive.

“He’s born in Cornwall and doesn’t need a visa to come here so basically they rung him at midnight and said ‘you’re on the plane in the morning’.

“So I’m missing from the next one, Issa will be in.”

But she had no tips for him as he's been a regular on The Chase Australia since 2015, and has won the Australian Quizzing Championship eight times between 2011 and 2021.
