Weather girl Lucy Verasamy wows in ski gear as she hits slopes on glam Alps trip

Lucy Verasamy has shared a throwback snap from before the pandemic, where she can be seen enjoying some down time on the ski slopes in the French Alps.

Kicking back for a relaxing holiday in the sought after Alps, the Good Morning Britain favourite reminisced about simpler times in her most recent Instagram snap.

Looking incredibly chic, the stunning 41-year-old TV star donned an all-black look comprising on a fur-lined jacket, ski trousers and thick warm gloves.

Penning a caption to accompany the snap, the GMB weather-girl said: "A pre covid/lockdown ski trip. And probably the last time I saw proper snow.

"It’s been mild for many recently but this time last year we were in a deep freeze/icy grip! I remember fountains froze in central London. It was barely above freezing but it’s been nearer 14C in places today. Colder air is incoming though…"

Just the other day the weather broadcaster shared a tweet on her Twitter page that confirmed the start of solar spring – news that left fans overjoyed.

The tweet Lucy shared was from the National Weather Service in Caribou, and it said: "Today is the first day of solar spring. This ends the darkest quarter of the year and begins the three month period when we gain the most daylight. This will be followed by solar summer, the brightest quarter of the year, from May 5th to September 5th."

Quoting the tweet Lucy simply wrote: "Bring. It. On."

Her followers were overjoyed at the weather update, with many commented on her tweet. One said: "Thank you Gorgeous! You are Beautiful and Stunning."

While another penned: Bring on the sun. I need to top up my vitamin D."

Lucy is an English weather forecaster for ITV with a BsC Honours degree in Geography from Brunel University.

The brunette beauty has fronted national weather forecasts since 2012 and regularly appears on Good Morning Britain to update viewers with the latest happenings in the world of weather.
