Google Maps viewers think they’ve found ‘the new James Bond’ in daredevil stunt

A Google Maps user has spotted a man doing a crazy stunt on StreetView and people are trying to work out how he did it.

In a clip uploaded on TikTok by @hidden.on.google.earth a man dressed in a white suit and trainers appears to be using a giant cardboard tube as a skateboard in an industrial estate.

The images are taken to give the illusion he is riding on the tube as he does "tricks" on the stairs and even makes it looks like he has squeezed under a lorry.

It's not clear where the prank took place – and the TikToker didn't share the coordinates – but a logo on the side of one of the lorries is written in English so it might be in the UK.

Since it was uploaded, the clip has been watched just under 600,000 times and people were stunned at the effort that went into the shots.

One person commented: "This dude was really dedicated to this joke."

"Skill level 100 + balancing," remarked a second viewer.

Another person guessed: "This guy definitely the Google Earth driver."

"He's just the best at don't touch the floor," quipped a fourth.

Someone else suggested the man was the "new James Bond" while others joked the mystery skater was a missing relative they hadn't seen for ages.

This comes after a Google Maps user found a 4,000-year-old desert ghost town that was once home to thousands of people.

Swallowed up by the sands but with towers and roofs still poking out through the dune, the ancient city, that was mentioned in the Bible, fascinated viewers.

And SeaWorld upset some viewers when they looked at the size of the orca enclosures using satellite images recorded by Google Earth.

The water park announced in 2016 that it was ending its killer whale breeding program but would continue to care for ones already housed at attractions.
