If the world came to a terrifying end, or a zombie apocalypse swept the nation, have you ever thought about how you would spend your last day on Earth?

According to a recent survey, nearly 72 percent of Brits would prioritise spending quality time with family if they had just one day left to live. The poll of 2,000 adults, carried out by Go.Compare Life Insurance, revealed that 32 percent of respondents would enjoy a final drink with friends, while 31 percent said they would overindulge in their favourite food.

Making funeral and will arrangements are also important to Brits, with 29 percent saying they would find time to organise these if they had just a day to live.

Other ways people plan to spend their final day include buying a special gift for their loved ones (19%), enjoying their favourite hobbies (19%), heading out to a beauty spot (16%) and spending all their money on an extravagant party (13%).

Only eight percent say they would make amends with those they’ve fallen out with, while four percent claim they would give all of their money to charity.

However, those who live by Carpe Diem may have other ways to seize the day, including jumping out of a plane, running around in public naked, or even having loads of sex.
