The second wife of tech billionaire and Twitter owner Elon Musk has opened up about the former couple's life – and it's an eye-opener.

British actress Talulah Riley was married to Musk from 2010-2012, and again from 2013 to 2016.

The 37-year-old, who appeared in both St Trinian's films as well as Inception, had actually pledged her support to Musk after his recent purchase of social media site Twitter offering to “do anything to help”.

And it appears the couple have always had a somewhat… interesting relationship.

Musk's biographer, Ashlee Vance, gave an insight into what happened on the couple's third date.

According to Vance, who wrote, in her 2015 biography of Musk: “The couple had lunch the next day and then went to the White Cube, a modern art gallery, and then back to Musk’s hotel room.

“Musk told Riley, a virgin, that he wanted to show her his rockets."

Riley is reported to have said: “I was sceptical, but he did actually show me rocket videos. Once.”

The quote resurfaced this week in an interview the author of Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future gave to Spanish news outlet El Pais.

She was talking about Musk's current state of mind having recently talked to him after his near-£37 million Twitter buyout.

She claimed: “Based on some messages we swapped back and forth, I do think he’s pretty stressed out.

“For most people, this would be kind of an extraordinary situation, but for Elon, it’s kind of standard operating procedure to have a business in chaos.

“The other thing I would say is if this just doesn’t work and Twitter totally collapses and his entire $40billion-plus is wiped out, I don’t think he would be okay with it, but he’s probably the only person whose life wouldn’t be destroyed.

“I think he’s willing to take this risk and can live with the results either way.

“Some of this he’s brought on himself, with things that he says in tweets.

“But people have to understand, most of the time he’s trolling just to sit back to stir the pot.”
